Me and my partner cannot recommend Allen & Harris’s Stoke Gifford branch enough. As 1st time buyers, they were patient with us seeing as it was our first time buying a home. Not only that, they were always more than willing to allow us to organise for contractors to go to the house before we had the keys. And also helped move the process of the house buying run smoothly and also faster by communicating with both our and the sellers conveyancers. We would also like to particularly thank Alex, who was in charge of our house buying - who always went the extra mile - even when picking up our keys, where he insisted on waiting past the time he should have left work for my partner to arrive. I used the tenant finding service from Stoke Gifford letting office in Bristol. The tenants viewings were arranged efficiently. In the process, the letting agent uses numerous companies’ names for operations, which are confusing and difficult to understand why. Currently the company still holds the tenant’s deposit for over two weeks without transferring it to the deposit protection service as the manager initially promised. When asked about the deposit, the manager said he will chase with their accounting department about the issue. After a week has passed and I received the warning from DPS they have not done the transfer. I get no reply with phone calls and emails. It is a bit worrying.

We are relocating to Bristol and needed to buy a house. From the initial booking for viewings, to the viewing itself, negotiations and then to the final sales memorandum, the whole process only took around 2.5 weeks!
