Most agencies said they weren't notifying anyone ahead of properties being put online due to demand being so high as they would always be able to find someone to take the properties and it meant that it was complete luck whether you called quick enough to be able to book onto a viewing. However, Andrews (alone) did put us on a list and contacted us immediately after properties became available which took off a lot of stress and was very much appreciated after the hectic experiences we had been having.
