After previous bad experiences in other towns, we were hesitant to use the local estate agent to sell our house. However, we are so glad we did. Parkers were completely on the ball, and in the end achieved a much higher sale price than we would have got with an online agent. So we got all their local knowledge and hand-holding, and a better financial outcome too. Don't hesitate to use them, they are excellent and worth every penny.

Juliet came to do our initial valuation but we decided to use a different agent who had valued our property for more money. 18 months and a pandemic later, we returned to Juliet to ask if Parker’s could now try and sell our house. We have now moved, having sold at the price Juliet originally quoted us. I would certainly trust them again as I feel they were very professional and accurate in their knowledge of the market.

Selling a house under normal circumstances is by its very nature stressful but add in a pandemic and the whole process gets more challenging for all involved. Having said that, a good estate agent keeping a finger on the pulse is essential and for us, Parkers was that agent. From marketing the property, negotiating a selling price, liaising between solicitors/buyer/seller through to completion, they acted in a professional manner. It was definitely a team effort with communication being key to keeping the ball rolling. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and cheerful which counts for a lot given the current restrictions. Finding a rental property in the Bristol area is challenging when you have pets and children. Although Parkers were unable to find a suitable property I found all the staff to be incredibly helpful. Kate is a fantastic example of a great Estate Agent, often sharing knowledge or offering suggestions based on her local knowledge as I am originally from Devon, which proved priceless. I don’t go out of my way often to write a review especially if I’m not technically a customer.
