Moving house is invariably terribly stressful, and at these odd times maybe even more so. The Hern & Crabtree team, and in particular Jan from Sales Progression, were great throughout. There were (of course) hitches on the way between accepting offers and moving house, and Jan dealt with them expertly. The process of going on the market (while now a long time ago) was also smooth and easy - we were given good advice on how best to approach things. We don't intend to move again for a very long time, but when we have to move again we will be back!

Start to finish - Great team. Sensible advise on selling price and showing our home for marketing to SELL. Once buyers secured the progression team (Jan Street) good at keeping us updated and staying calm in our mini crisis when our buyers buyer pulled out, but thankfully our buyers secured new buyers. Our main contacts, Owen and Mike, are very responsive and professional and kept us well informed, particularly during the early false starts (which weren’t their fault). Thank you.j It is worth commenting that we chose H&C having encountered them as prospective buyers. It may sound minor, but their physical marketing materials are of a much higher quality than most agents’ (without being of the unnecessarily bulky folder type). Owen’s and Mike’s sales technique appealed to us: relaxed and aimiable, but they were almost always able to answer our questions and, if not, contacted the office to find out there and then. This is in contrast to some agents we’ve encountered, who promise to find something out and then don’t get back to you. Our only, minor, criticism as buyers is that some properties listed online that are of interest are sometimes missing floor plans.

I would choose Hern and Crabtree if I were you selling a house. They sold my fathers house well above the initial market value within a week. He has a bit of Alzheimers and they were very patient with him.They are very professional (It doesn't matter who you talk to in the office) and helpful even after the sale.
