Would highly recommend these estate agents when buying or selling a house! All of the estate agents I’ve dealt with in this firm (Helen and Rhiannon) were very professional, friendly and most importantly listen to what you need and go above and beyond to try to meet your needs. They are very knowledgable in the areas where they sell and as both a buyer and seller using these agents I couldn’t recommend them enough!! They are very attentive and respond quickly to any queries you have and I couldn’t ask for more when marketing my property they made sure to take the best photos and made sure the highlights were covered in the write up. They even provide a virtual tour using their camera which I think is a unique selling point in attracting more viewings. They also made sure to regular contact the solicitors in all parts of the chain to ensure a smooth sale. These are the only estate agents I will consider to use in the future and will make sure my friends and family use them! I also liked that it is a mother and daughter team which made it feel all the more personal which is something you don’t get with chain estate agents. Thank you so much for making it a pleasure to sell my house and buy and making it stress free as possible. For anybody that’s ever been involved in selling or buying a home will know how stressful it can be, but with these guys its so much more easier. Along with all the other positives mentioned in the other reviews about professionalism, responsiveness and proactiveness in keeping things moving forwards, where Hogg and Hogg really stood out for me during my sale was that as a family business it was almost always either Helen or Rhiannon on the other end of the line. This saved a lot of time repeating myself and in my case made such a difference as it was not a straightforward sale! 5* PROFESSIONAL | ALWAYS HELPFUL | EFFICIENT | AUTHENTIC | WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. my first interaction with the company was post the business closing for the day, but I just thought I’d try my luck to see if someone was still in the office. It just so happened the call was diverted to a mobile which when greeted by Rhiannon, couldn’t be more helpful. It was past 6.30 and the lovely lady was able to book a viewing for us the next morning at 8.30 before me and my partner started work. She explained she would contact her colleague and make her aware of this and that we were to meet her. For somebody to be willing to take care of that out of normal business hours, instead of just saying to call back in the morning, instantly brought the family/friendly vibe. On meeting her colleague face-to-face, (which I later found out was in fact her mum) - I instantly felt at ease. Her demeanour was to say the very least; professional, kind, friendly and understanding. Being first time buyers, not really knowing what to do, how to go forward or even types of surveys, Helen was able to offer us her valuable time and advice - which to this day we are so grateful for. We left the property feeling positive. We had the weekend to think about the property a little further and so happens decided to book a second viewing. Again, they were able to book us in after work which meant neither of me or my partner had to take the day off work. Little things like that help a lot! Typically when you view properties, you get bombarded with pushy sales driven staff, but this couldn’t be anywhere far from the case for Hoggandhogg. It’s like Helen understood the necessities that came with purchasing a property; from giving us space and time to view the whole property but outlining and showing us the important things within it, giving us helpful advice, money saving tips, being helpful in coming to work early or finish later as a result of our preferred time of viewings, to the space which allowed us to think for a few days about if we wanted to go forward. I’m thrilled to say that during the second viewing we decided to make an offer. We left the property and Helen promised she would contact the Seller and get back to us as soon as possible. Helen, delivered her promise. I wouldn’t even say 5 minutes after, we had a call with a response but it just so happens Helen had to call the Seller another time and again, within minutes was back on the phone to us. (you could probably guess what we were doing at this point.. we did put in a relatively cheeky initial offer!) From accepting our offer, to completion, Helen and Rhiannon have been absolutely fantastic. I am not one to write reviews because as you can probably see, I do waffle on a little bit! I feel these two people deserve the recognition of being such outstanding, helpful, reliable and kind people to do business with, under what I thought would have been a stressful situation, but with thanks to them, turned out to be pleasant. Everything from the way they treat their customers, how they conduct themselves, their business; the out of hours assistance they’ve given us, their help and advice, even down to mirroring the same pattern from their website to the cute Mini Cooper which is driven, shows how much you care about your business and your customers. The professional, personal, friendly and inspiring theme that you both portray inline with your company values should never change, always do what you’re doing! Well, what can I say…who lists and sells my house within 4 days?? Hogg and Hogg has for me!! I just cannot express how pleased I am with the service we have received from them. To be honest we initially had had reservations about not using one of the well-known agents on the high street, but then, after speaking with them, we thought we would give them a go; they stood out from the crowd. And we absolutely made the right choice. The other agents said it was unlikely we would sell our house this side of Christmas. And based on this information we were not expecting the house to be sold STC until. Hogg and Hogg did not take this view and were confident of the swift sale, they were absolutely right. The quality of the listing is superior; they take excellent pictures (friends and family said how great they were!!) that really show off the house, the details are well described and the floor plan helps people visualise the space they are viewing online. Unfortunately, not all agents have such high and thorough standards, I have no doubt that this attention detail meant our property sold really fast. Although the house was listed and sold STC within days, we had several viewings. After each viewing, comprehensive feedback was provided verbally and written. Hogg and Hogg provided us with a personal service. We met Helen and Rhiannon and they are both very friendly. They have been available to answer all of our questions and they are not restricted to 9-5 Monday to Friday, which is great given that I work in those hours, as do most people. I don’t know what else to say really, I would say in the future I will use you again, and recommend you to my family and friends - thank you both so much and I wish you all the very best for the future.
