Being a Leaseholder, I have had my share of bad experiences with Management Agencies. However, the service we have received over a number of years with East Block has been outstanding. The director, Sam Lapworth, and her team are always extremely responsive to queries and are professional. They are also clear with their fees and upfront. This is something I greatly appreciate! I would recommend their service unreservedly.

I am leaving a review from a tenant's perspective. Liza at East Block Group was the person managing our tenancy for the 2 years we lived in the property. She was always responsive if we had any queries or issues, getting back to me very quickly and resolving any problems. I've moved around a lot previously and dealt with all kinds of management companies but Liza and East Block Group were by far one of the best teams.

I feel compelled to write a review for the excellent and extremely positive service provided by Liza Jary, Sam Lapworth and the whole team at East Block Estate Management. I am a Director of a block of 13 properties and have had the pleasure of working with Sam for several years. In this time, she has made our block compliant, conducted a forensic review of our finances (including helping recover 'unauthorised' payments taken by previous management cos!) and has ensured the block not only looks fantastic, but is operating under the terms of our lease, therefore, ensuring our investments are protected. Everything they do is conducted with transparency, openness and in the leaseholders best interests. The whole team is inclusive of every leaseholder and their manner is approachable, informative and friendly at all times. As a Director and a leaseholder (owner/occupied), I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending 100% East Block Estate Management. In my experience (and I've worked with a few!), they are head and shoulders above the rest and the best in the market. I am the Director of a management company which appointed East Block Management in July 2019. At this time, our development had fallen into disrepair and our finances had been mismanaged, as a result of the conduct of the previous managing agent. As Directors we were extremely concerned that our development was not compliant with leasehold law nor with Health & Safety compliance. Since appointing East Block though we couldn’t be happier. Sam and Liza are a pleasure to deal with, as are the rest of their team and nothing is too much trouble for them. Sam has been amazing. She goes above and beyond. More caring than any other management company we've had (we've had a few!) Our estate has flooded due to excess rain and the build up from the neighbouring estate - she has been in regular contact and making efforts to contact the correct people to address the issues. If you are not happy with the service then buy a freehold property and deal with it yourself. #bekind we are all human.
