I began my journey with them, anticipating some help in finding a new tenant for a flat I own. It has ended up with me asking them to manage it going forward. As a first time home seller I really didn't know what to expect going into the process but the best decision I made in the process of moving homes was switching agents to sell through FennWright Colchester. Would highly recommend the residential sales team to anyone considering going on the market or struggling to find a buyer. They all made me feel valued as a customer after a very poor experience elsewhere. The team took proper ownership of my sale & we had a buyer sorted within 3 weeks after being on the market for months with another agent. We obtained the correct market price for the property and constructive advice was provided to help secure a sale. The suitability and quality of viewings noticeably improved. Despite the busy period during the stamp duty holiday I never felt that anyone in the team was in a rush to get off the phone or didn't have time for my queries or concerns. Even the small things for example emails to confirm booked viewing appointments and who was showing the prospective buyers round were appreciated and from experience, not all agents offer / can be bothered with this! Prospective buyers were shown around by experienced estate agents that had good local knowledge for almost all appointments & they turned up early. Thanks to Paul & Kris for offering some really good advice, support and reassurance at the start. Martina was a pleasure to work with booking viewings. Calm patient and didn't mess me about changing times and trying to put viewings too close together so that the sales agents would inevitably not be able to arrive early enough for viewings. This all made this a positive experience which was a very welcome change as this was an area my previous "estate agents" really fell short. Kirsty handled the after sale process fantastically & did a great job keeping me informed with regular updates and pushing things along, really helping to make those last few weeks before completion as stress free as possible. Strongly recommend FennWright Colchester for anyone looking to buy or sell property in the area.

I've had such a horrible time with other agents when looking for a property due to an unexpected CCJ, other agents have point blank refused to let me see properties because of it. Fenn Wright didn't make me feel any different to any other applicant. When I told them of the issue, they simply told me not to worry and they will help me find a property. James Gunther and his team are exceptional. They never made me feel like anything was too much trouble and spent time and effort to support and put up with our ongoing frustrations. The staff always called me back when requested/when they said they would........something I know our buyers did not experience with their Estate Agent. Unfortunately in our case they were dependent on another local Estate Agent for updates on the chain which resulted in misinformation being given to us through no fault of theirs. Be aware that some estate agents have quite sharp practices. Always read the small print. This not something you need to be concerned about with Fenn Wright. You get what you are promised. Having now read the other reviews it just doesn't sound like the same Estate Agents experience we had ... We have experienced a few estate agents in Colchester most have been fine. Fenn Wright have been excellent and from experience I would and have recommended them to others.
