Six months and numerous interactions with Strike later - I can say I've been really pleased with their service. Strike facilitated the sale of the house I wanted to buy. They were very easy to communicate with in viewing the house, simply arranging an appointment with the seller - which was helpful in being able to get direct and detailed answers. Admittedly they don't miss an opportunity in trying to upsell/cross-sell various services around the home-buying process (they have a partner for everything), but actually they weren't pushy. And perhaps after taking a recommendation (from my broker) for a solicitor who turned out to be disappointing - I should have taken Strike's suggestion. Leeson at Strike was great at relaying communication between myself and the seller - both clear and responsive which helped enormously, particularly in the last two very tense weeks! Even when Leeson was away, his colleagues were superb at ensuring they passed messages on and I felt I could trust the team at Strike. All in all - fantastic service from a buyer's perspective. I usually don't write reviews, but I thought it could be very helpful to people that are looking for a reliable mortgage advisor (as I was a few weeks ago). I contacted strike because they offer free mortgage advice and wanted to give it a chance, I was a bit reluctant at first and wasn't expecting a great service since it was free. But Paul Herbert (my mortgage advisor) was just AMAZING, we had an initial chat on the phone and he asked a few questions to assess my affordability and gave me an idea of how much i could borrow and what would my monthly payments look like. Once I knew that, I started my property search. I found my perfect home and called him back to let him know, he then set a phone call appointment to go through the different mortgage lenders an options and pick the best one for me, he explained everything to me in detail and answered all of the questions I had before making a decision. I picked a lender on that same appointment, sent all the documents that Paul requested (not too many) and he made the application in the evening of that same day. I received the mortgage offer in less than 2 weeks, Paul Herbert and Jay Jasion (special thanks to her as well) kept me updated on every step of the application, they just request a couple of extra documents that the lender needed but apart from that I literally hadn't to move a single finger, they did all the work for me and I can't believe I didn't have to pay for it, it was easy to get hold of them whenever I needed to and they even got me an amazing deal for my building and life insurance and got that sorted for me too. In conclusion, I recommend using strike's mortgage advise services 100% Thanks again Paul and Jay for your excellent service!

My experience as a potential buyer was excellent. They called me and emailed regularly to keep me update rather than having to chase them (which was a very refreshing change after dealing wtih most other estate agencies). The online portal to make offers and have direct contact with the seller was fantastic and made the process much more dynamic and efficient. I heard about Strike initially when I went to view a house via PurpleBricks I believe. I then had an initial call with Josh Legrand who was so helpful and took the time explaining the process and how it all works, and it was because of that call with him that I decided to use Strike to find me a mortgage. After several calls with Josh he took all my information and was very helpful in guiding me through the process of buying my first home. I didn't know much so I asked a lot of questions and he was patient enough to just listen and then explain. He went above and beyond for me, he would update me all the time (which I asked for) and he would constantly chase things and be a total professional throughout the whole process. After finding the mortgages, he presented me with options from what I had told him and it could not have worked out any better. I really appreciate everything Josh has done for me he is a real asset to Strike and a real professional. After applying for the mortgage I then worked with Barry Rylance who was in contact with the bank going back and forth sorting out paper work and documents that they needed and helping me and guiding me. Barry was great as I would receive a weekly email, even with the smallest of details which I really like as you never want to feel like you're on your own but these two guys made it feel very professional but always put me at ease and reassured me it would be fine. Ajay Chudasama- Best mortgage advisor Everything started while arranging a viewing of a house through Strike Estate agents. During the discussion, they recommended us to consider their mortgage advisor and left the decision on us. But unfortunately before our scheduled viewing, the property got sold. However, mortgage advisor from Strike Mr. Ajay Chudasama still insisted on having a call regarding mortgage. We had a call with him and he helped us to get the mortgage in principle in just two days. From Day 1 he was so helpful and so informative that we were never left with doubts. Fortunately, another property popped up and that too through strike. We put an offer on the property and the sellers accepted. We then had another call with, he applied for our mortgage and we got the mortgage offer within 2 days, yes you read it right just 2 days. He pushed us to apply for mortgage application faster due to which we were able to secure a better interest rate. For one moment we felt like he is bothered more than us about raise in interest rate. He has supported and guided us at every step. Being first time buyers we had so many questions in mind, but every time he made sure that he tries to answer all our queries. He was the one who called back, replied and never ignored a single message or an email. He is the one who never rushes to finish off the meeting until all our queries are resolved irrespective of he being late to the next meeting. We can blindly trust him for the next mortgage deal in future. He has made our home buying process so easy by helping us to complete mortgage process so smoothly, quickly and easily. I would strongly recommend Ajay for any house mortgage related work. He is the best and the one who goes out of the way just to support his client. Absolutely amazing service!! From start to finish the whole process has been stress free, we had quite a 'complicated' application but it was easy peasy for Joe & Barry. Joe was our advisor who got everything together and applied for our mortgage, Barry has been the one keeping us updated and really chasing our lender, he's been absolutely fantastic!!! As first time buyers it is a pretty daunting process but honestly it's been stress free from start to finish. We did originally start our mortgage process with a different mortgage advisor who was just wanting bits of money here and there, and we could never get hold of him, we then was purchasing through strike and was asked if we wanted a chat, I said why not we hadn't anything to loose, it was the best decision I made! The whole service is FREE, yet they deliver the highest level of service from start to finish and been so understanding and patient (with us being first time buyers Joe and Barry went through every single bit of information even extra to reassure us and let us know about the whole process) I have been recommending the service to everybody I speak to as I couldn't be happier!!! Amazing service. Had weekly check ins with Joe Bignell who was great with explaining the ins and outs of a mortgage. Then got passed over to Josh Legrand who was great and found us a good mortgage and explained the pros and cons of each mortgages. Follow ups after mortgage application was submitted is brilliant and prompt. Available via email, phone and whatsapp which is handy. Great service overall and would highly recommend.

I sold my house via Strike in 2022. I have to say I have thought for a long time about how to write this review. Ultimately the bottom line is that Strike did sell my house for free for a price I was happy with - a saving of several thousand pounds is basically impossible to not rate 5*, however that is where the positives end. I found the experience of using Strike appalling. The initial proposed valuation was over £100k less than the final sold price, and although Strike were happy for us to list at a price we chose I feel this was a somewhat negative start. We had our case manager randomly changed multiple times during the process. I have to say most Strike staff were completely disinterested - the experience of working in a central office vs working in a local office for commission I think probably reflects this difference vs a local agent. My biggest issue, by far, with Strike however is their recommended conveyancer, "Strike Conveyancing". This is a front for Premier Property, a firm with a terrible reputation who in our case did such incompetent and useless work that the sale was on the brink of falling through until the other side (we did not use Strike Conveyancing ourselves) changed solicitors. Overall I found it painful to progress the sale. I made over 100 phone calls to Strike in the course of the conveyancing, and only once I started talking directly to the other side did anything get moving. I also lodged a formal complaint - and this was mostly ignored. I couldn't even tell if it was ever addressed. In summary - a really awful experience, but one that ended with several thousand pounds saved. In reality I would probably be willing to use Strike again, because ultimately most people would accept some inconvenience for that level of saving. If however this is your first time buying or selling, or you lack the time and energy to progress the sale yourself, I would steer well clear of Strike.

No stress, No fees, They'll sell your house with ease.. We didn't expect that selling our property would prove to be such a nightmare until we discovered Strike who gave a stress free experience surprising us by introducing dedicated professionals with specialised expertise to expedite each step of the selling process offering advice and suggestions that definitely increased viewings which helped bring about the sale. Strike's website gives you daily updates on your progress, the ability to arrange your own viewings and to communicate with potential buyers. Customer service is extraordinary. Always available at the end of a phone line no matter who answers, they know who you are and how to help. This is our 4th move and our experience with Strike was on a completely different and far higher level. Every member of each team really went out of there way to understand and resolve our problems. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I hope they forgive me for not remembering all their names but Special thanks to Rob, Terrance, Lee, Rebecca, John and Isis. You are all amazing. We still can't believe that Strike offer a more comprehensive service than any agent we've used before and the whole package is completely free. I have no doubt they will soon become the agency that dominates the online housing market.

We foiund the whole process of selling wiht Strike to be efficient at al stages. Each Adviser was helpful and on hand to assist with any problems. these included Alex, who dealt with the valuation, Chris Bovey, who took over for the viewings and Edward Voss, who helped finalise the sale. my only suggestion for improvement, would be to have a personal number or what's App number for each contact, rather than the generic number, as it was not always easy to get to speak to the person dealing with the matter at each stage of the process. Our house selling process was so simple and very well supported. We’ve recommended Strike to every friend/family member since. The chain was unfortunately ‘difficult’ and Strike were always on hand to support the misunderstandings and chase the estate agents/solicitors to push the sell forwards. Strike have been really good to deal with. Their smart phone system which helps them match your details and work out who you are really does improve their customer service, and they are easier to get through to on the phone than most estate agents. They are also all nice, helpful people who are reliable about passing in messages. The highlight for me has been their sales progressor, Siobhan Wardle, who has been absolutely top notch through a rather difficult and complicated process. She has been so professional about working with both sides but also really friendly and understanding on a human level. She keeps in touch really well without being demanding, and she's also experienced, calm and knowledgeable. Let's start off with the good! Valuation: great online and fair offer for property! Photographer: absolutely perfect thank you worth the £500 Viewings: fantastic I had 22 viewings in 4 days had to stop people coming I had at least 10 request after accepting offer aswell! Negotions: 8 offers and advised to do best and final offers which helped achieve best outcome. However, I know they purposely put me of one buyer has he was not getting any products from them as both had same offer and he already told me he wasn't buying any products from them. Hard sell: what they don't realised prior to hard sell I was going to use them for moving services however after declining use of solicitor and negotier trying to sell and telling me that's why it's free not a chance took my commission elsewhere thanks! Need to learn the art of selling! After sale: didn't chase until I called them for update then emailed me to confirm information I had already told them!! Only chased day before completion to see what time set for they didn't need to know information just wanted off books so could close down! Completion: advise to leave keys with neighbours!! As they are online service! No thanks solicitors handled that. BUYERS! You don't need to buy a separate survey when you get your mortgage ask for the upgraded valuation from your mortgage company they will charge you a fee to get the full survey and doesn't cost as much as the companies they recommend as they will add a premium to pay for the kick back they give to strike! This also added 8 weeks onto the timescales and really annoyed me as a seller as I had to wait in for twice taking time off for both appointments! Look at reviews for anyone they recommended and ask them about the comissions (bribes) as you are often pay for them! So tradition local solicitor are often cheaper and more responsive! Also buyers tell them you will consider everything till you get offer accepted then you are free to go ahead and look for the best option for you

With it being a free service I was quite skeptical, but the service I recieved exceeded my expectations. The online strike hub is really good and being able to view and organise your viewings and see your offers on your phone or laptop is excellent. I thought it sounded too good to be true at first but after realising how it works found it to be the most simple of services. I knew more about the area than he did and he was not local but when a service is free what more can you expect. I’ve just completed on the sale of my home with Strike. It’s important to be clear that what you get from Strike isn’t what you will get from a high street estate agent. The ‘local property expert’ comes and conducts a quick walk around and values your property in line with comparable properties in your area, you could probably do this yourself! They then get you on the market, you’re then handed over to a sales negotiator who keeps track of your sale, then on to an account manager once the property is sold. Throughout the whole process, I spoke to people from Strike on 3 occasions, all were short phone calls and they were usually always too busy to answer the phone immediately if you did need them. All of that said, we paid £500 to sell our house which is unbelievable value in comparison to the £2k-£3k you’d expect from a high street estate agent. The £500 was for professional photos which were amazing quality. Your property is added to Rightmove & Zoopla for free, you get a for sale board outside your home and access to the Strike hub to manage viewings etc. If you’re willing (and have the time) to personally manage the sale of your property, liaising with potential buyers, solicitors etc then go with Strike. Just always keep in mind that this is a hands off service, you don’t get the ‘nice to have’ bits but you do save yourself a decent amount of money.

As a first time buyer three things I’d like to leave a review on Strike’s service. 1. Mortgage service. Highly recommended, I am purchasing a property from Strike and used their broker. Ioni Hornsby has been extremely helpful. She always respond my queries timely - though I had plenty as a first time buyer.. she called me when I needed to speak to someone. And she helped me in any possible way, patiently and promptly answer all my questions even things that are out of mortgage scope. She helped me getting a mortgage offer in 10 days. I got her call telling me the good news first thing in the morning on my birthday, so it was brilliant. Unbelievably, the service is for free, I would give Ioni 6 stars if I could. 2. Negotiator. This was ok. When my offer got accepted. I was told that I’d be called to go through ID and funds check so that the property can be taken off the market. But no one contacted me for two days, and I had to call/email multiple times to chase to speak to someone and get it done. 3. Legal service. I did not use them simply because it was difficult to speak to someone - no one answered the call or gave a call back. So I chose to go with someone else. I had the pleasure of working with Jemma and Tom and lately Toni Jackson on my mortgage. I must say they were fantastic. Their responsiveness and attitude was outstanding, even though I had tons of questions i never felt as I'm bothering them. Jemma sorted a top-notch mortgage deal for myself and gave me great tips and explanation on things I thought I knew. I'm immensely grateful. Toni on the other hand stepped in near completion. My mortgage was about to expire and we had quite a few issues with the management company and we were not sure, if everything will go through in time.
