Harry Hicks from William H Brown Colchester is by far the best person you could ask for in an estate agents, he will arrange every viewing around your working time, he will stay later than he has to in order to get more viewings in one go rather than spread them over a few days for convenience to you. I was the executor of the sale of a deceased friend's property and based 250 miles away from Colchester so I have never visited the office or met any of the people. I selected William H Brown because of their approach which was far more proactive than their immediate competitor. The property was assessed, photographed and on their site in a matter of a few days. A lack of initial interest from purchasers did require a reduction in asking price. The sale took a bit longer than I hoped, but a purchaser was found with a small chain and the transaction was successfully achieved. I found William Brown people very personal and responsive. I never once rang the office to find there was no one there who knew about my sale - a rarity in this business as many people will have experienced. Dan Cullum has looked after me, and they could not be more attentive or proactive if they tried. They got a selection of excellent tenants within 24 hours of the house going onto the books. Where do I start? I have recently completed on a property in Stanway which was advertised from William H Brown Colchester and from start to finish they were phenomenal. George was my sales rep and was amazing, I called on a Wednesday to view the property and George booked me into the appointment promptly. Even when the developer pushed back the viewing, George called me promptly to get it rebooked and answered all my questions with honesty. Once my bid was accepted he kindly guided me onto the next steps. Frazier was the gentleman who did the viewing with me and I can't speak highly enough of him, he took me into EVERY property and didn't rush me out of any, he gave me and my mum a chance to ask as much questions as we liked and he also was very well mannered.
