I chose this local estate agents because Sylvia made me feel at ease and comfortable straight away at the point of valuation. Ruby was quickly in touch when I confirmed I wanted to sell my home with Property Hive, and I knew immediately she would look after me and the sale of my property. She has been efficient, communicative and so easy to deal with. The marketing was very effective, the Virtual tour is a brilliant addition to the photos on the selling sites and I quickly had several viewings, that the team took off my hands so I didn’t need to worry about that either. We were kept updated by them throughout the process, which was invaluable as it took several months after an offer had been accepted. On top of this Chloe somehow worked some magic and managed to 'save the day' for me and get the buyers mortgage lender to agree to stay on track for an agreed completion date rather than putting it off to a later date. If you're looking for friendly, honest, straight forward and most importantly knowledgeable estate agents then I recommend The Property Hive. Sylvia came to do our house evaluation and made an excellent impression on me, explained how the process work and the fee clearly, with no hidden charges unlike the other estate agent I dealt with previously and even recommended some local conveyancing companies we could use - no pushing. As it turns out, there is a massive difference. Dealt with Property Hive Bessacarr as a prospective buyer. Initially we viewed a property on Harcourt Close as we were listing our property for sale. We arranged a second appointment to view unfortunately a no show from the agent as the property was unoccupied, on our 3rd attempt we managed to view the property again however the PH man made it clear he had limited time and had to quickly depart to attend another viewing in a distant village in the same hour. The week our property sold we enquired whether the property was still available on the Monday, the agent told us not to worry as the property had no ‘real interest’ we called the following Friday to make our offer to be told the property had been sold mid week (days after our enquiry) and they decided not to inform us as the property was overpriced so it wasn’t worth Informing us. We drove to office to ensure our offer was made clear to the vendor but in our belief this should not have been necessary. We also enquired about a property listed on Thelaby Gardens but unfortunately no response from the property hive over a viewing, we purchased a property in Cantley with a different agent eventually. Poor.

I knew it was going to be difficult to value our house it was very old attractive with extra accommodation in a barn but with two ancient rights of way. The brochure photos and video were fantastic and soon we had loads of viewings. Unfortunately most buyers had been watching "Escape to the Country" and were not prepared for the realities of an old house' one even objected to the sound of the church bells. I was ready for admission to the psyche block despite a lot of support from Rosie. After a meeting with Lorraine we decided to reduce the price and Lorraine and her team would take over everything I would not even meet the buyers until all was completed. We started with an open afternoon where ten couples attended five made viable offers and Lorraine chose a couple who not only offered above the new asking price but in her opinion would not mess me about. Lorraine was right from then on we proceeded at a solicitors pace (slowly but surely). I am a volatile personality prone to despair and throughout the experience the Hive Team were there calming me down, being realistic and above all giving me hope. Today after 7 months (including solicitor time) I said goodbye to them all and do you know what I was sad ......but not sad enough to do it again'.....but if I had to it would be with the Hive Team
