Dowens, in particular Sarah have been amazing from the start. I saw a property which was booked for a Saturday, things changed and I needed the appointment moved, this was done without issue. My partner and myself turned up and were greeted by the company's valuer who should be employed as a seller more often. He was brilliant, honest, informative and a breath of fresh air from other estate agents I had dealt with. Within 10 minutes of leaving the property we submitted an offer. Simply amazing customer service from Jennifer and Mandy!!! Over a period of 7/8 months the sale for my house fell through..... twice! Both collapses were with the buyers and there was no fault associated to Dowen. During the first 2 'nearly' sales and the 3rd successful sale, Jennifer and Mandy were simply amazing. The queries I was being asked from the buyers solicitors and the challenges we faced we on our side brought on by the impact of Covid, made the situation extremely testing. Although the situations I found myself in were not really for Jennifer or anyone at Dowen to own or take any responsibility for, Jennifer understood the bigger picture and supported me constantly. Jennifer was always in touch, keeping me updated and giving advice. Her professionalism and personal approach was simply amazing! On the 3rd sale Mandy was the lead from Dowen and, although this sale was not as challenging as the previous two, Mandy kept me updated on developments, what happens next etc etc. Mandy was brilliant in her approach and communication and key stages in the process which meant i didn't feel like i was constantly having the chase. Good overall service from Dowen, and a quick sale. Mainly dealt with a lady called Mandy who always kept in contact with us regarding progress of the sale and as we were in chain of three, always provided ongoing information about the position of all the people involved, which was very reassuring. When originally viewing the house my viewing agent arrived on time and with all of the correct documents including my application form if I did wish to take it.
