This is a long overdue post to both recommend and thank Sean and his team at Coulters for the sale of my property earlier this year. Having owned the property for 15 years this was my first house sale and was prepared for some stress especially given the circumstances. I live in Australia so had to go through this whole process online, so there were some very late-night phone calls and emails during throughout. That mixed with Scotland being in the midst of a strict lockdown, the sale was certainly not a straightforward one. In saying that, looking back I have to say that Coulters were amazing. They managed to sell my flat in a very timely manner, which also included them conducting the viewings during the Festive period and with a single person viewing rule in place. I've used Coulters for a number of years now as a landlord, at one point renting out two properties through them. I am back in my house now but still renting out another property and I have never had any problems with them and the neighbours have been happy with the tenants they've found for us. I have had experience as a tenant myself, renting a property through another agency and received shocking customer service (never getting replies or answers to calls or emails) but as a landlord I have not experienced this with Coulters.

Because of Corvid, I was unable to meet and talk with my Solicitor face to face: in hindsight I would have benefited from being able to talk through the legal process of buying and selling a house at the start. Being uninformed about Scottish law ( or any law, for that matter), I was surprised by certain aspects that occurred that I was not aware of. (Eg. Finding that if the buyer of my house could not get hold of his payment on a certain agreed date, then I would be in breach of contract!)
