I honestly cannot recommend them enough, especially Ross, who was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about Edinburgh property market and was genuinely interested to understand our needs and was super helpful throughout the whole process and right until the end. We very much appreciated that he introduced us to the tenant prior to completion and that he always followed up on any correspondence and kept us fully updated. The existing tenancy was actually managed by a different property management agency, yet Ross was so kind to contact them and obtain all required tenancy paperwork from them on our behalf. Absolutely amazing, we felt that he knew more about the tenant than the agency that was managing the let. I just wanted to provide a quick review of the service that I received from Portolio Ltd during the process of marketing and ultimately selling my investment property. I was introduced to Ross & Chris through my letting agent and informed that Portolio specialise in selling investment properties to active investors. Ross immediately got to work in order to obtain the required information and photographs of the property to allow marketing to start as quickly as possible. I am delighted to be able to post such a positive review for Portolio. We recommend them to clients who are looking to sell properties with tenants in situ and I am pleased to say they did a really good job while selling one of our Director's own properties. We had some really good tenants but it was the right time for the Director to sell the property. By using Portolio our tenants retained their home and we retained rental income right up until the point of sale. This was particularly important as the first purchaser had to withdraw their offer. If the flat had been on the open market we would have had a few months of no income and mortgage payments to make and the hassle of changing our insurance etc- however because we had rental income coming in there was no real stress and we had the luxury of being able to wait for another good offer. The sale was seamless and the tenants were pleaed to have very little disruption to their lives - especially important during Covid.
