Having rented from the PLC for over two years now, I can say how lovely and receptive the staff are. This has been a consistent experience from my first viewing of my flat, where I felt the selection process as a renter was much fairer than other companies. I have been renting a flat from the Property Letting Centre for over 3 years, and they have always been very helpful and friendly, responding immediately to my emails, and quickly arranging for their contractors to come and do jobs in the flat whenever something needed to be fixed. The rent was paid monthly and there was never a problem with it, and the Property Letting Centre staff was always very helpful when my contract needed to be renewed. We rented a central Edinburgh two bedroom property for a year with The Property Letting Centre. The viewing was on time, informative and friendly. When we moved in the furnished flat was clean and comfortable. I have previously experienced terrible service from different letting agents and was cautious about renting again. I need not have been worried, the customer service here was excellent. We were given lots of notice for inspections or safety tests. Any maintenance issues were dealt with swiftly and with care by Suzanne or Barry. As a company they were very happy to help with anything that came up, from questions about rent to a broken toilet seat. We had an entry system fitted into the building during our tenancy and Molly kept us up to date with progress and was happy to answer any questions. Any time I popped into the office, the staff were helpful and always noted any issues down so they weren't forgotten. I will be sorry to leave The Property Letting Centre. Great flat! Organised, efficient and friendly letting agent. I will definitely be back!

We just have finished our tenancy with The Property Letting Centre after renting a one bedroom flat for 18 months. The service was very professional and always to a very high standard. Maintenance issues were resolved in reasonable time and the staff were friendly and approachable responding to our emails very quickly. An early notice was always given before any inspections or safety checks and the inspections were carried out in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The communication between tenant/agency/landlord could be improved as any issues raised during the inspections were not dealt with. Luckily these were mostly cosmetic issues which did not have a significant impact on the standard of the property but we at least could be informed with the reason why no action was taken. Overall I highly recommend PLC, the rent was reasonable and was not raised during our tenancy, and the staff were great, we usually contacted Molly who was always able to help. When the landlord decided to sell the property we were contacted two weeks in advance before getting the notice to leave the property which was very helpful.

The team at PLC have been efficient, friendly and knowledgeable throughout my whole tenancy. From the first viewing the flat to the check out process, I've found them to be the best letting agency in Edinburgh that I've used. They coordinated with the landlord to resolve any issues quickly and fairly and always gave a decent amount of notice when they needed to come round to the flat. Highly recommended all round!!

A great letting company to work with, so much easier than having to deal with a landlord (who can be difficult to work with). I found them very accommodating and they didn't treat me or my flatmates any differently for being students. Our flat was easily maintained and they only made a few visits throughout the year with plenty of time given and they were only for health and safety/fire alarms so we didn't even need to tidy our rooms! They were also very helpful with the moving out process and answered all our emails promptly and helped make sure we got our full deposit back. I would highly recommend using this agency.

I've let a property in Edinburgh since 2009. I have dealt with many letting agents and have had frustrations with some. By far the best experience I have had has been with The Property Letting Centre who I have worked with for the past 6 months. The first question I was asked was "What do you need from us?" and since then they have delivered on everything: The customer service is warm, friendly and second to none. Whether it's Molly, Erin or another of the team you are guaranteed a rapid, polite and efficient response. The works department seem quick and competent and the rates very fair. Most importantly I get the strong feeling that the tennants are also being suitably and fairly worked with. Something lacking with previous agencies. Highly recommended!

I recently moved out of a flat rented from Property Letting Centre for a year and a half. The flat was great. Our interactions with PLC were smooth and efficient; they were always helpful when we needed things fixed or replaced. At the end of our lease we were able to work of a rolling contract for a few months which was perfect for us. There was a small issue at the end where we assumed we would move out on a certain date and they assumed another, but we discussed it and came a fair resolution. We gave our flat a proper deep clean when we moved out and despite small damges from day-to-day wear tear we fairly got our deposit back. All in all they provided a fair and professional service and leasing with them was an easy, no-stress experience.

I've been renting a property from the Property Letting Centre for about four months now, and have never had reason to fault them. They're quick to respond to any questions or issues that I'm having, the staff are friendly and were quick to sort out my application for the flat, and the flat itself was in excellent condition upon moving in, with all the necessary electrical and gas safety aspects fully inspected and up to standard. Miles better than letting agencies I've dealt with in the past.

It is very convenient for me. All the bills are included and we don't need to bother the cleanness of the common area. 'The PLC have been managing 3 flats for us for several years now, and this review is long overdue! Right from the outset we've found the service exemplary without exception, and have never needed to worry about or be involved in any aspect of the letting process unless we've chosen to. We have been entirely confident throughout that the necessary checks would be dealt with on time, and when repairs have been required we have been promptly informed and given the choice as to whether to arrange the repair ourselves or whether to let the agency deal with it. Where this is the case (which is almost always!) quotes have been provided and work done very quickly, and to an excellent standard and at reasonable cost. There have never been hidden charges no matter how much work the staff have had to do (as last year when we had a major leak), and most importantly we have always felt very welcome to discuss any concerns we have had. All of the staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful and, for all of these reasons, signing up with the PLC has made the business of being a landlord as stress free as it could possibly be. We can't recommend them highly enough!

PLC have been very professional from the first viewing till the repayment of the deposit. I found their processes very easy and transparent. The staff were friendly, responsive to all requests and questions and showed up punctually for appointments. They were also excellent in mediating commination between me and the landlord. The flat was ready for me on the agreed date and was cleaned thoroughly. The tenancy agreement was sent to me in advance so I had enough time to read it and ask questions. The tenancy contract was accompanied by a detailed and up-to-date inventory. I was not worried that I would be held liable for damages that had been done by previous tenants. Within a month of moving in date, PLC put my deposit in the safe governmental scheme (LPS). After I handed in my written tenancy termination notice I received a letter explaining what to do to get the deposit back. I followed the cleaning instructions and got a full deposit back. Overall, it was a very positive experience. If I ever go back to Edinburgh I will rent with them again!

Excellent service so far! Whenever any issues arose, the PLC were extremely prompt to help out. For instance, when the oven or boiler stopped working, they started making arrangements on the same day to get them fixed! Barry and Suzanne from maintenance have been particularly helpful, even answering texts or emails well outside office hours (much to my surprise). Throughout this period , we have always found the staff to be totally reliable in representing our interests. The repairs/replacements have been handled promptly both to our satisfaction and also the tenants. Most important, accounts were always rendered promptly paid in full into our bank account with no hidden extras or special charges. For the whole of the period the flat was rented, we have lived abroad and it has been very reassuring to know that no matter what, there were safe hands back in Edinburgh looking after our interests.
