Watt Property are a fantastic agency in Edinburgh. We have been with them for several years and they have always been incredibly helpful, supportive, quick to sort any issues and very flexible around us as tenants. There is definitely a “family-feel” to the agency and we have gotten to know most of the team over the years. They have all be equally friendly, professional and as always helpful. Bethany has be brilliant to work with, she is so quick to respond to emails and has a lovely manner. Pauline and Laura have also been great. They really do have a wonderful team, and we feel very lucky to have come across them. When we first signed our contract they went through every aspect of it slowly and clearly with us and we really appreciated it. They also care about the property they rent, so I had no hesitation recommending to my family when they were looking for an agency to rent their property with. I could not recommend this agency more highly! Our property manager Bethany helped us find this flat and we will be forever grateful!

They always seem to find the perfect tenants who end up staying in the flats for a long time and who treat the properties very well, not to mention a very fair but competitive pricing structure both with regards to the current rental market and commission for the full management service. I've been renting for 6 years with many different rental agencies and Watt property is the most outstanding so far. Not a single agency went through the tenancy contract with us meticulously, until Watt property. Other agencies merely give tenants a document expecting us to understand everything on our own and sign ourselves away. Watt Property have provided excellent service as both a letting agent and a selling agent. I was a reluctant landlord when I originally let out my flat. I contracted Watt as my property manager after a period of trying to do it all by myself, as I found it stressful and difficult. I was really impressed with the service. The staff are friendly and their knowledge and professionalism made me a happier landlord knowing that the flat was in good hands, the tenant was respected, and my instructions were understood. They provided clarity and honesty to both me and my tenant, promptly dealt with any problems, and communicated updates regularly. I found the charges agreed for the management were fair and in line with other similar property businesses. However, the benefit of the excellent service and knowledge have made the transaction really good value for me as a landlord. The feedback I got from my tenant was also really positive. I also marketed my property for sale through Watt. I followed their advice and have since agreed a sale for a price and within the timescale they predicted.

Very professional company, super friendly staff, very confident in their ability to sell our flat, the pictures taken complimented our flat hugely and the text to go with it, described our home beautifully. We had over 12 years experience with Watts and found them to be very helpful with everything. Any problems that did arise were dealt with in a very timely manner and we were kept informed about everything. The inspections that are done are purely to check on the status of the property and to ensure that if there are any issues even the ones you may not have noticed, like the seal in the shower gets repaired/replaced straightaway. Pauline & Co in the office are lovely and very professional. When we vacated the property we had no issues over getting our deposit back (we were surprised at how quickly it was returned to us). Pauline and Co are absolutely brilliant at what they do. They were responsible for letting and selling our flat and did both superbly. They know their business well and found us the perfect tenant very quickly. Dealt with Watt Property during a letting of a flat last year and have nothing but good things to say about the company. Throughout our time in the property, from viewing to moving out, Watt were helpful, polite, easy to contact and extremely quick to deal with any problem we had. For instance after we first moved in we had an issue with a leak in the bathroom that was not caused by our flat but the property above. Rather than say it was nothing to do with them Watt were instantly on top of it and made sure the problem was sorted on our behalf, and it was resolved within a couple of days. When moving out Watt were still eager to make sure it was as painless as possible and were very accommodating with dates. Would be delighted to deal with Watt Property again.
