As a Landlord, I used the services of 1-2-Let for managing my rental properties in Glasgow. Certainly from a Landlord's perspective, they always seemed to find decent tenants and often had some lined up, for when the property became vacant, so not much time wasted hanging around. As it was mainly hands-off for me, 1-2-Leg managed all aspects of rebating out the properties, including advertising, inventories (very thorough) etc...I would highly recommend 1-2-Let to any prospective landlords...trust me, I've used a few agencies in the past and 1-2-let were not only more competitive with their fees but more professional also and normally quick to respond to any of my emails etc. Communications were always professional and polite and everything conducted in a timely matter and I was always kept abreast of everything. Again, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services and only finished business with them, as I sold my rental property.

The communication back wards and forward has always been very prompt, informed and very accurate. The property I let out holds a significant attachment due to being a former family home. I understand things have been really difficult during the pandemic, but my calls to the office have always been answered promptly or they have called back within the hour after leaving a message. To be honest I was a bit concerned after I read the reviews but honestly I've had nothing but professional and helpful service. They were quick to act when I found issues with my apartment after moving in and very friendly and happy when you talk to them which makes a big difference to me. They managed to get me a flat when I lived in London and it was a risk taking the property without seeing it, and I trusted them because of how professional they were and my trust has paid off. I have a beautiful two bed flat in East Glasgow - they were right about the area and the landlord being a really sound dude as well. If u ever move out of this flat, I will be asking 1-2-let to find another place but to be honest, I'm really happy here and it's partly thanks to them. I think as far as the bad reviews go, I can honestly say that my apartment wasn't that clean which I was a bit peed off about at first, but the landlord explained they had to come in and do work on the gas boiler to make it safe, after the cleaners had been in so I respect that. They have either fixed or are in process of fixing things between them and the landlord :) All in all I think it's really easy to leave a bad review when you're angry because a situation hasn't gone your way, but I wanted to be honest about my experience and it's been great because had I not liked the place so much, because of the reviews, I was thinking of going to another estate agents and I'm really glad that things have gone this way and that my experience has reflected the positive reviews I've read here.

Since moving into the property, there has been 1 or 2 of the usual maintenance issues that crop up. 1-2-Let respond in a rapid manner and have sorted the issues properly without any fuss or delay. Eddie was super helpful at contacting me when anything came on the market within my budget to arrange viewings and I ended up taking a flat the letting agency recommended which was better than the one I’d asked to view myself! Danielle was incredibly helpful at what was a stressful time as I had to self isolate when I was due to move so arranged for a family member to pick up the keys from the office for me which made life easier when I was given the ok to move! Maintenance (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) were super helpful too and arranged for a plumber for me within 24 hours for the only minor issue I had on move in which was resolved at the visit. Honestly compared to some letting agencies I’ve used in the past communication has been fab and the staff have gone above and beyond what was expected which was hugely appreciated.

Good experience, Danielle was very helpful with walking me through the paperwork. Would have liked to have a definite move in date a bit sooner, I only got this confirmed a few days before which made planning a bit difficult. There were a couple of issues on moving in, including the boiler. I reported this and it was dealt with the same day, and the more minor issue with the blinds was also addressed promptly. Delighted to have property managers who deal with any issues right away!

Review from a tenant - I've had a very positive experience renting a flat from 1-2-Let. Been in the flat almost two years now and found them to be nothing but professional and efficient, really quick to help if I ever have issues/need repairs. Tonight being another example of this - boiler conked out due to the cold. They got back to me within 5 minutes with a solution which worked/boiler is back up and running. Considering the weather I'm really impressed with how quickly they sorted the issue. Highly recommend.

During difficult circumstances, they managed to make the process straightforward and pretty seam free. Have used 1-2-Let since 2006 for the same flat that I have rented out. Generally, I have found this letting agency to be good and have found repairs to be quickly resolved. I have found Louise to be particularly helpful in this regard. However, there are a couple of services I would like to see improved such as forewarning me when a tenant is moving out and a property inspection being completed every now and again.

I have been with 1-2-let since 2008. Over 9 years now. And I can't fault them in any way. My flat is always rented out. Any problems I am updated immediately. I even received phone calls, even though I live abroad and international cost were incurred. I specifically deal with leslie, and from the day she came and sat across from me in my living room, I knew we were going to have a healthy ongoing rapport, and time has shown this was true. I like that they can pay for my expenses and just deduct it from the next rent they receive, which makes it easier and allows things to run smoothly. I am sure you won't regret having them as an agent, I sure don't!

Initially I was unhappy with the service from 1-2-Let as my tenant told me they were moving out, not 1-2-Let. Also I asked that they did not take prospective tenants for viewings as the property was in an unlettable state, however they did take people to view it whilst the current tenant was in there and I'm sure this put off prospective tenants. However, the service did get much better. I mainly dealt with Andrew Crawford with regards to reletting my property. He was very helpful and efficient when arranging repairs and getting various quotes for work in the property. Louise Gordon in repairs was also very helpful. This reduced some of the stress of refurbishing/reletting the property. Having rented my property through 1-2-Let for over 8 years, the service hasn't always been great on this occasion I was very happy with the services provided by 1-2-Let.
