Countrywide's Dennistoun branch couldn't have been more helpful with the sale of my flat. I was anxious and had no idea what to expect as it was my first time selling but Stuart put me to ease straight away and explained exactly how the process worked and what Countrywide could do for me. Stuart kept me notified at each stage of the process prior to my flat going on the market and once it was listed Paula and Bobby were in contact to arrange viewings and I was very lucky to receive and accept an offer within 3 days. A house that my partner and I were really interested in buying went on the market last Tuesday. It is however, going to a closing date 10 days after putting it on the market which is disappointing and does not appear to give the buyers enough opportunities to view a property. Maybe something to review in future.

We used Countrywide Dennistoun branch to sell our flat, and were delighted with the service we received. The team were professional and kept us informed at all times of viewings, offer status etc. We were very happy with the outcome - the flat sold within the week. We are currently awaiting finalisation of entry dates etc, but would recommend Countrywide as a very professional organisation. Stuart, Bobby and Paula were responsive and replied to any communication promptly .

We had a great experience selling our flat in Carntyne with Countrywide’s Dennistoun office! Stuart was so efficient at setting us up as a client and getting our listing live, and he price matched a quote we had from elsewhere. Once our flat was listed, Paula was great at keeping us updated with booked viewings, and at following up with people after they had viewed and giving us feedback - we had viewings every night after we listed the flat (often multiple viewings in one night), but this was managed seamlessly and didn’t feel anywhere near as stressful as we had anticipated. Stuart also gave us lots of advice when it came to the offers we received, and we sold our flat above home report value within a week of the listing going live. We were absolutely delighted! We also used the mortgage team at the Dennistoun office - Connor was excellent and explained the whole process of securing our mortgage for our next home, and got us a deal we’re very happy with. When Connor was then on paternity leave the team picked up our case without issue and this didn’t effect our application whatsoever. All in, couldn’t fault the service we received from the estate agency and mortgage teams at Countrywide in Dennistoun - would recommend them in a heartbeat!

My sister and I were selling a flat on behalf of our brother, who had had a stroke. We were extremely lucky to be working with Stuart Clelland, as he was extremely, professional, knowledgeable about the market for flats and easy to discuss some issues, which were complex and for us, difficult to share. Stuart was always very supportive and given some of the issues, I do believe other agents may have refused to help us. Within a week, overcoming the obstacles, the flat was on the market, at a price higher than we anticipated, which was of course wonderful news. Once the flat was on the market we were introduced to Paula Mellon, who would manage viewings and provide feedback on viewings/offers. Again amazed at how professional, responsive Paula was, especially given the flat was not high value and in need to work. My sister and I were amazed when Paula advised a price, told us how buoyant the market was and from them she kept us fully updated on progress. The flat was advertised around 3pm and by 5pm Paula called to say we had an offer, higher than expected and cash. We were so delighted, however, Paula advised us to wait and during the next 6 days there were 10 viewings and higher offer, which was also cash. From start to finish the entire experience of selling was stress free and that was down to both Stuart and Paula, who are the ultimate professionals and know their clients, market so well, which gave us amazing reassurance we had engaged the correct Estate Agents. We can not thank them enough for all their support. We would certainly recommend Countrywise Dennistoun, to anyone planning to sell or buy a property.
