We chose Hunters of Horsforth because their business ethos matched ours and they seemed professional. They believe in getting to know their customers and building a relationship with both buyers and sellers to achieve the best outcome. Our experience was that the team went above and beyond this promise and our expectations.Ours was a complicated transaction involving the change of status from business to residential. Not only did the agency source tradesmen for essential electrical work but also arranged the purchase of appliances. The goal of the whole team was clearly to help us sell the property. They picked the best buyers who we liked very much. The property had sentimental value for us as well as financial. We wanted it to be in good hands. Hunters achieved this and a good price in an increasingly difficult market. We are very grateful to Paul, Emma and the team. It's been a rather awful time to purchase a house at the moment. The competition is high and the prices even higher. It's a moment where most estate agents aren't having to really try, where things are selling without effort and most of the time you feel like no body cares about your experiences. We viewed 41 houses over 2 months, missed out on about 7 with most of those being best and finals. Hunters Horsforth (Emma, Steph, Chloe and Paul) were the only people who made effort with us, took time to get to know us and it felt like they genuinely cared and wanted to help us. We've now dealt with most of the estate agents in the area and it's safe to say that Hunters Horsforth and 1 or 2 of the other Hunters branches are the ONLY branches I would go back to. Having had a negative experience with another popular Estate agent I decided to give Hunter's the opportunity to sell my house. I was not disappointed. I used Hunters after my neighbour had a great experience with them and I have to say, I’ve got nothing but good things to say about them. Estate Agents seem to get a bad rap so I was fairly wary to begin with but I only found them to be honest and professional throughout. The best thing about Hunters is that they take ownership of your situation with designated contacts and they do their utmost to put you at ease, whilst being honest and realistic about any hurdles you encounter. I think some agents can be unrealistic and sell you down the river with sky high valuations but Hunters are grounded and fair in what they do and their results speak for themselves. They also only take on limited/manageable numbers of sales so it never feels as though they’re too busy to help or you’re just another number. Like any home move, mine wasn’t without hitches (no ones fault), however the compassion shown by Emma in resolving this was absolutely superb, the humour and character Tom brought to the viewings was legendary and the professionalism and knowledge Jonny showed in scanning the 3D tour/discussing my concerns about listing before finding a house was fantastic and really put my mind at rest. All in all, if you’re looking for a local agent with a great knowledge of the area then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hunters.

Hunters amazed us from the outset. Tom was brilliant. He immediately understood the charm of the property and captured it magnificently in his descriptions. He was professional, efficient and enthusiastic. He showed a fantastic knowledge of the local dynamic and was extremely constructive in his advice about how to present the property.
