Fairway are a really down to earth, helpful and friendly bunch. It was such a breath of fresh air to finally find a Lettings company that treated you like a valued person, not just a name on a file. When viewing a property (which is now our home) we were blown away by the helpfulness, knowledge and enthusiasm from Mark. After applying for the property we were kept fully in the loop, no question was too much of an issue to be resolved and the application paperwork was simple. We would definitely recommend fairway. 100% recommend. I have used Fair-Way to manage my rental property for 8 years and so when it came to selling the property it was a no brainer that I use them for the sale too. From a cost perspective they were also the best. The Sale was during the Covid period and we faced many hurdles. The team were fantastic as they supported the Sale. There were certain periods of the transaction when I would call them almost everyday (no word of a lie) for progress and updates, as the buyer was not as proactive as Fairway and myself. Mark, Steve and James were always polite and professional. I can not recommend this company highly enough. We have employed them as our managing agent for a property in leicester for over 10 years after an abysmal experience with another large company in central Leicester. From the minute I picked up the phone to them to make enquiries regarding their services I have been impressed. I've recently rented a property from Fair-Way Lettings. I found the service very good and straight forward. They acted quickly when we confirmed our interest in the property and made the moving proceed seem uncomplicated. They carried out a thorough survey and made sure the property was in good shape ready for move in day. A courtesy call a few days after we had moved in was a nice touch. I am very new to the world of renting a property. Last time around my partner did all the leg work! Now it's just me I have realised that there good agents and bad agents and that it's a minefield out there. When I first made initial contact with Fair-way I was a bit put out that they wanted so much information from me, before I could even VIEW a property and honestly? It made me a bit cross. From start to finish: I was shown around the property by Russell Kent. The viewing was friendly but professional with an open approach to asking and answering questions. The positives and negatives were pointed out which gave me a sense of trust and faith in the type of company I would be letting from. It was refreshing to hear such comments with regard to my landlord in terms of maintenance of the property should the need arise. This property was perfect and so all systems go; however I was due to go on holiday 1 week later and a result of this time was of the essence. This is where I met James Maker and Mark Weale once again very friendly and professional. I completed the paperwork with Mark, which was explained to me in fine detail with all questions answered. James then got on the case and liaised with the landlord and chased my references. In-between this time I had regular contact with both Mark and James by email - my emails were acknowledged and if necessary were acted upon with in the hour which was very reassuring. By the end of the week I had the all clear thanks to the speedy work of Russell, James & Mark. I had a week away and came home to the keys. On moving in due to the strong winds the tree in the garden needed attention. I contacted Mark who liaised with the landlord and within the hour I was reassured that the landlord had been notified and that I would receive a visit that evening - I even received a courtesy text from my landlord to check that the time would be sufficient for a visit. Someone came round and we have made arrangements to rectify the problem. This example reiterates to me that on the first viewing everything that was discussed with Russell was honest and sincere. I would like to thank Russell, James & Mark for their extremely professional yet friendly approach in helping me and my family to find the right home for us and going above and beyond to make it happen in a very short space of time. I have been renting properties over 6 years now and these gentlemen are a fine example of a great service to which I feel comfortably reassured that the service I will receive from them will be for the length of the tenancy and not just for the initial sale.
