More recently however we put our house up for sale so we asked Keywest to manage this for us too. All the team were extremely helpful from the initial evaluation through to arranging viewings, managing the offers made and supporting us right through to the sale. Keywest have made my life so much easier! Trying to manage the house myself, from abroad before I took them on, was a nightmare. They handle everything, do regular check ups, make sure you are renting legally with all the correct certificates, and the place has always been rented out since starting - which is great for my piece of mind. Purchased a large former care home on the Hinckley Road in Leicester for the charity I manage. Worked with Richard Chesterton of Key west to secure the deal at a reasonable price. Richard was very professional throughout, always responsive and communicative, and did all he could to facilitate access to the property prior to completion to allow refurbishment plans to be developed. the best estate agents I've rented from since living in Leicester, very professional and responsive. Any problems are discussed and fixed as fast as possible and there is always good communication. If there has been a problem that hasn't been fixed fast it's only been because of the size of job. (we lost a bedroom window and it took a while to be replaced but this was during a covid lockdown and it was a BIG job) I highly recommend these guys for anyone looking for housing in Leicester, especially students as the price of our place was amazing considering what we got!

Well, I do not know where to start. I have had the privilege of Shannon Hurst keeping me sane throughout a stressful period. A tenant was renting my property for several years and then stopped paying his rent/communicating with Keywest Lettings. As you can imagine this is any landlord/landlady’s nightmare. I am 100% pleased with what Shannon did for me, genuinely, nothing was too much trouble for her from chasing payment, inspecting my property, hand delivering eviction notices to obtaining the cheapest quotations from trades people, the list is endless. I did not hold out much hope for a (Section 8) 14-day eviction. Shannon kept me informed from start to finish, I received regular emails and phone call updates. On day 14 at 5.15pm Shannon called me to advise that the tenant had left the property and popped the keys back through the letter box. She instantly put my mind at rest by instantly instructing a locksmith that same evening. It was such a huge relief and I really do not what the situation would have been if it was not for her. She has instructed trades people to clear, clean and paint the property and is eager to get new tenants in a.s.a.p. Letting agents generally are seen as the same professional level as timeshare agents, car dealers and recruitment consultants but Shannon bucks that trend, a nice person and extremely professional.

I created this account to write review. Plenty of agents say they specialise in lettings or sales. I have been a landlord for many years with different agents across the city. Big companies and independents. The usual statements advising me "we will be better" or "we offer a fully managed service that will take the stress away". I requested valuations of my student property and the only company that was professional was Keywest. I waited until they successfully rented and the students moved in before I write review. Before I knew it, contracts were signed and even with 3 people dropping out, new tenants were found and I have my money. I have had problem with the company who were in town and now moved to queens road, were the rudest staff I have dealt with, they have two names but moved into one office. Plus the competing agents on Hinckley road, were just as rude. Here I am now, happy that I have my money and Keywest are such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Keywest.

UTTERLY SUPERB Highly recommend Keywest - in particular the staff on Hinckley Road. We had a whole disaster trying to get referencing sorted but they were always on hand, prompt replying to communications and I never had attitude from anyone (seeing as I was calling SO much and other estate agents did not like the bother). Such a fabulously personal service, individual and courteous. The house is stunning, and tailored to what we were looking for. I'm disappointed I didn't know to use them when I first moved to Leicester. We had valuations from two other estate agents and chose Keywest for several reasons: the valuation from Clare was on par with our thoughts and she gave us a realistic, honest and professional opinions. My experience with Keywest over 3 years has been brilliant. It is an efficient and professional company that meets all the standards and uses IT well to speed things up. My elderly father decided to rent and without the usual payslips, driving licence and so on, it was proving very difficult. Kamila went the extra mile on so many occasions to help my dad secure a property and provide information whenever needed. Recently my dad broke his hip and had to move to a ground floor flat. Amazingly, Kamila came out to the hospital so that he could sign the new tenancy. I am so grateful for what she has done. All the systems in place for viewing, securing and paying for properties work well if you are organised and take a professional attitude to the process. I notice that the actual customers who rent and buy from Keywest seem to give the company 5 star ratings, whilst a few who have a short negative experience give it a one star review. Although my overall feeling of Keywest is not particularly positive, there is one particular staff member that was incredibly helpful to me and my housemates whilst trying to resolve a major issue where we have lived whilst studying in our final year at uni. But Keywest -- and in particular Melanie and Samantha -- really did take the sting out of it for us and made the application and next steps as painless as possible. They also allowed us to move some surplus furniture back to the LL and generally ensured excellent communication between us tenants and the LL, which is exactly what you'd expect from an agent. The response time for repairs/replacements was also good, although we would have given five stars for a boiler replacement (rather than a fix) -- but I guess one can't have it all! We would choose Keywest any time again and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking in the Leicester West End.

Reason why I haven't given 5 stars is because i was told by Keywest the property is on a straight water meter (which it isn't), the property was dirty when I moved, they didn't give the landlord sufficient time to clean the property. Aside from this I'm happy with the house and my landlord is amazing

It was a stressful time as you can imagine, we had a time limit to get this purchase settled before our rental contract came to an end so we had pressure all ways round. I can’t explain how helpful and empathetic Keywest and Tony in particular were. I think I rang 2/3 times a day hassling poor Tony to ensure whatever needed done to go through ASAP and not once did he get frustrated or impatient with us. Ultimately Tony had a great hand in ensuring it all went through by the required time. I cannot express how impressed I am at how he dealt with us even though we weren’t his client, he didn’t owe us anything but he received every call and was so polite and extremely helpful and because of Tony and his team if we do require an estate agent for future purposes, we will be using Keywest without a doubt!
