Jay worked closely with us to find us the perfect property. He was patient and understanding with our questions and he focused on our needs, sending us property after property until we found the right one. Whenever we couldn’t get hold of Jay specifically the rest of the office were more than happy to help and we always felt looked after. For the first time in many many years I needed to rent a property, not only in an area that was completely unknown to me, but using agents that I had no previous experience of. Hence I opted to drop into the offices of as many agencies in Lincoln that I could practically manage, to introduce myself, explain my needs and to get a feel for what properties they were currently advertising and also those they hope to have available in the near future. I spread my search widely and called into 8 agencies and was particularly satisfied with the greeting, time and information I was provided with by 3 agencies. These 3 were particularly realistic and reassuring, providing a sensible amount of information in response to my questions and also very useful guidance on aspects that I had not specifically requested but which was very relevant to improving my chances of locating and being offered the lease of a suitable property. It so happened Haart Estate Agents (which was one of the 3 very best agencies) had a property available that I had initially discounted, however Daniel highlighted aspects that on reflection possibly would match my requirements and offered a viewing at short notice later that afternoon. I am very pleased to report that within 2 weeks of the viewing we have completed referencing and signed off on the lease. This would not have been possible without the professionalism and support provided both by Daniel for the viewing but also Jakub who steered us through the complete process. I contacted Haart Estate Agents in Lincoln about a property advertised for rent in Bracebridge Heath. From the time I phoned and was put in touch with Daniel Hall I found the experience very professional and efficient. Daniel met me at the property and showed me around, answered all my questions at the time and ones he couldn't answer he straight away got in touch with the Landlord for clarification. My husband needed to see it on a different day and while Daniel wasn't available he quickly asked one of his colleagues and confirmed a date and time straight afterwards. A mixed journey. Early dealings were very good and efficient. Our house was listed very quickly and the marketing material was very good. Plenty of viewings and an offer from a cash buyer accepted after 4 weeks. However none of the offers were in the recommended price range and I’m unconvinced why estate agents advertise a price range. From accepting the offer the flow of information was very poor - on many occasions we considered putting the house back on the market as we doubted the credentials of our “cash” buyer. However, two months after accepting the offer, information started flowing from Rachel (Move Manager) which was a great improvement. Overall, a mixed service which seemed to stop when we accepted the offer but eventually improved.

Covid distancing rules made house searching and viewing quite difficult; add in a 130 mile each way journey to view made it even more of a task. We chose a number of properties from Rightmove then gave estate agents the job of scheduling 7 viewings over 2 days for us. Forget the others.
