After deliberating for 3 years we finlly decided to put our house on the market. After research we settled on using Acorn Estate Agents and then lockdown happened. We initially had 2 agents supporting us, this changed when the first lockdown was eased and viewings could start again. Our new agent was Max Williams and we had a number of unsuccessful viewings. Sadly, we were less impressed with the repairs and maintenance section - Acorn staff and their very expensive contractors, but we were given an apology, assured that there were some staff training issues being resolved and we found our own repair people so we are still happy - but have downgraded our overall rating accordingly.

Looking at the argument of traditional high street agents versus online ones I’d recommend Acorn and these two anytime. One of my life rules is I don’t mind paying for things - so long as I’m getting my money’s worth... and that’s exactly how I felt with these two. Yes they’re expensive (compared to online only) but they earned their commission, they never put their foot off the gas in the process of selling my home and they did a superb job right up til the point of exchange - and hopefully now beyond too! Acorn Eltham have been absolutely OUSTANDING. They were recommended by a friend who couldn't sell their property for months....until they switched to Acorn Eltham. The property was sold in no time. The same happened with our property. Nicola was very professional, factual and she managed to sell it within the first few days since it was on the market. We had an extremely difficult chain and the process to get to the Exchange/Completion date was incredibly painful. I strongly believe that if not for Nicola the whole chain would have collapsed on several occasions. She has been simple incredible. I can't recommend Nicola and Acorn enough! They're the best by far in Eltham!

The best part about Acorn is that they listen to you and give priority and attention to your requirements as opposed to other big agents who simply do not care.
