Anderson Rose is a conscientious, professional and proactive residential estate agency. I recently sold my property in Shad Thames. Anderson Rose did not high-ball a valuation to win my business, but instead provided detailed information on recent sales of similar properties in the area to arrive at an accurate estimate of the property's true market value. I was very happy with the way in which the property was marketed; both in terms of the marketing materials produced, which included a video presentation, and the professional way in which viewings were conducted. Importantly, having received an offer, Anderson Rose were proactive in moving the conveyancing process forward. Always easy to get in touch with, and with multiple parties involved in the sale: Property managing agents, landlords and solicitors; Anderson Rose quickly communicated any issues to all relevant parties and actively contributed to their timely resolution. On a personal note I would like to thank Jon, Oliver and Daniel for all their hard work. In conclusion, I whole heartedly recommend Anderson Rose to any prospective seller.

TLDR; an agent that does everything properly, helpfully and decently. Use them over anybody else in Shad Thames! Really excellent experience as a tenant in Shad Thames. Anderson Rose has a great local reputation and it's clear why. Communication is always quick and engaged. Property Manager Angeliki is an absolute pleasure, always helpful, diving in to solve things and leaving no stone unturned. I had a plumbing problem and all of the stress was taken out of it by the AR team just getting stuck in - lobbying the building management etc etc. I know that things are in good hands, and our landlord has the same confidence. Couldn't have been a most positive experience and I wish AR all the best.

I came across Anderson Rose when they were acting as agents for the vendor of a flat we bought. Always clear they were acting for the seller, AR was transparent and I experienced non of the chicanery that seems to be systemic in the case of so many estate agents. When the interests of their client and ours overlapped AR pulled out all the stops to ease through a deal that could so easily have derailed. Anderson Rose handled a simultaneous sale and purchase for me at a very complicated time with Brexit happening mid way and the chain coming apart with buyers in the chain changing their mind. It was a complicated juggling act at a very awkward time in the market and the entire chain was at risk of unravelling. However the professional and friendly team at Anderson Rose kept a calm head and managed to steer everything to completion. Their good relationship management swiftly found a replacement buyer. They were good at keeping us informed and offered honest insights and practical advice to help wrap up a sale and purchase. Initially I placed my Shad Thames property for sale with 2 other agents on Shad Thames. One of the international agents was frankly useless, the other tried hard for 18 months without success. I appointed Jon and the team and they went above and beyond the call of duty and just sold the place for £2.2m which is a great result considering the market. However, not only did they sell the apartment but Jon helped with selling the furniture and even helped me with moving some items to our new place. They never gave up, were creative and hard working and are problem solvers. They helped solution some difficult problems (not of our making!) that had emerged with the title and went to the PLA themselves to push things along. Even the story behind the name talks to the values of the firm (ask Jon to explain). They are a unique bunch and I would strongly recommend them on any transaction. They predicted a number of things in the early stages which played out exactly as foreseen. We have a flat in Shad Thames that we've let for the past 4 years. We moved to Anderson Rose almost a year ago after a prolonged bad experience with another letting agent in the area. My goodness what a change! After having endured years of inaction, missed deadlines, foul ups, errors of all sorts and general incompetence we suddenly discovered what flat management "done proper" can be. I can't say which agent it was but believe me there is a real bad guy agent out there and it's not A&R! The A&R team will not only go the extra mile they'll do that as a matter of course but if the situation needs it they'll run a full marathon for their clients. Two weeks ago four people from A&R manhandled a washer drier up 4 flights of stairs to our flat when a major high street store wanted to leave it in the lobby. They then also sorted out the plumbing and installation too. They only called us to report "job done". I really do recommend A&R to anyone wanting to let their flat or indeed anyone looking for a flat to let!
