Abdul and the rest of the ARQ team were exceptional from start to finish - nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very efficient and always got back to us promptly, sometimes even out of hours, and if we needed anything chasing they were on the case straight away. This was great as amidst all the stress when selling a house, it was good to know that they were as committed to getting things done as we were. When we first put the house up for sale in mid-September, we expressed our hopes of selling and moving before Christmas. This did not phase Abdul as he was confident that this could be achieved; we ended up completing in early December which we were really pleased about. We saw ARQ Homes were selling a property in East Ham on a road which we would have loved to live on. We learnt that the company also inspires house renovations and this property was their project. I have never used ARQ Homes to purchase a house but would highly recommend them. First of all, we bought a house via Aston Fox and had the worst experience ever. It was very stressful, both for us and the seller who chose this agency. In the end, the seller didn’t even give the keys to them but directly to us. There was a lot of miscommunication and the agents making decisions and setting deadlines without consultation. During the whole process, I reached out to ARQ HOMES for advice and found it very helpful. They have also arranged a viewing for us and it was one of the nicest experiences we’ve had. I then recommended them to a friend who is now enjoying her new house and has said many positive things about ARQ HOMES. I know now where to go in the future. Moreover, I have also found out that ARQ HOMES have become a sponsor of Central Park Allstars FC, where my son plays. Thanks to them the club was able to purchase new football kits for the children. What a fantastic setup ARQ Homes have. ARQ managed our rental property finding model tenants. The years that the team at ARQ managed our property were without fault. Regular checks were carried out with feedback given. The years passed and we decided to sell the property which is where the ARQ really came into their own. What an HONEST and HELPFUL team they are. Imran can be singled out as being our go to man for facilitating the sale, he worked hard finding us a buyer and doing his utmost to ensure the sale went ahead despite COVID. Newham Council unfortunately seemed quite the opposite, not responding to requests/emails despite us explaining our financial strains with having the property vacant and us being concerned about losing our sale due to the delays caused by no one except Newham Council. I have several emails from my solicitors with dates stating the communications sent to newham with no response. Newham council and its employees have always been a disgrace from our 20 years of dealings with them. Im unsure what goes on behind closed doors and how they all justify their pay packets but efficient they are not. If you're selling a property in Newham you have my deepest sympathy, please prepare for a long and frustrating time. Had it not been for all the guys at ARQ along with my solicitors not being proactive I feel it could have taken months longer than it did. A last word on ARQ, every interaction over the years has been positive and helpful. I couldnt think of a bad word to say about the company or the employees working there. I know Abs personally and the guys in the office. However this review is for him and the charity/ community work that he does and not the property side. We’re writing this review as a company that ARQ Homes hired for a community charity event. It’s amazing to be part of ARQs commitment to the community by organising and facilitating these amazing events targeted at raising money for wonderful causes. What was so clear at their charity event is their relationships with the local community, they put on a fun event and they created an amazing atmosphere for children and adults! He has just contacted us again, for the Richard House Hospice summer fete in July 2022. I am leaving this review as you, their readers, really need to know what he’s like. We used Abdul and the team at ARQ to both sell our property and purchase our future home. We had offers fall through twice with a previous agent and instructed Adbul and the team to sell our house for us instead as we saw how thorough and helpful he was in our onward purchase. Abdul was in daily contact with us. He ensured that all queries were answered in a timely fashion and that all parties was kept in the loop at all times. We managed to buy and sell within 4 months including the period over Christmas which is no easy task. Abdul and his team are professional, articulate and knowledgeable.
