Chris, Bee and the team worked tirelessly to complete our sale during what was, due to the stamp duty holiday, one of the busiest and most trying periods for a very long time. They couldn't always pick up when called but if I sent either Chris or Bee a message, they would always get back to me before close of business that day. Chris would make it his mission to chase down ever illusive solicitors and report back as soon as he had any news. During the last couple of weeks before exchange, there were days when I would speak with Chris, who is the branch manager two or three times. They did great and I can't recommend them highly enough.

If Carlsberg did estate agents, they would all be like Chris! We were the buyers in a recent sale and I can honestly say that I have not come across a more genuine and efficient estate agent. Chris handled the post offer liaisons. He was in very regular contact with the us, the seller and both our solicitors. He would always call back when he said he would and chase whichever party he needed to chase when he said he would. Things got rocky towards the end of the purchase between us and the seller and I believe that without Chris holding everything together, the sale would have fallen through, which would have been a real shame because we now love our new home! Update: Really depends who you deal with in terms of a lack of clear communication and also the manner in which you're spoken to as young females. Some have been wonderful and efficient, others not so much and communication between departments seems to be an issue. I've often forwarded on emails when I've been told someone has no knowledge of a situation, just to receive a reply with sincere apologies to say certain employees did not pass on all information when they should have and they would act immediately on the situation. I don't know if Anthony still works there but he was the one person that kept me in my flat and with Bairstow Eves. I was dealing with a dodgy flatmate, ongoing building work and a landlord we couldn't get hold of of. He was always prompt in replies and went out of his way to explain any legal issue without ever patronising us. He's made life much easier and dealt with our continuous emails and phonecalls, something that is rare in estate agents today particularly in London!

Chris and his team at the north Finchley branch are a close knit group. Their way of working puts the local community very much at centre of their business. Homeria answered all my questions and was super helpful once I decided to go ahead with my offer. I was about to have a vacant property after a very good tenant was about to leave for family reasons. Since the property was already let through BE N12 I thought it better to give them a try first. Got a fairly accurate appraisal of a new rental price which I must say was very welcome. Viewings began and I guess they must have dealt well with the tenant, for viewings, because there was no issue and in a short while the property was re-let. A quick re-think was required because the prospective failed references but another suitable tenant was found quickly at the asking price.
