My girlfriend and I recently decided to relocate from South London to Hampstead as we loved the area. We had a huge issue trying to get to viewings after work with other estate agents as no one wanted to show us around past 6pm. It was becoming a rather long and frustrating experience trying to relocate. Eventually we found a property we liked that was managed by Chancellors. I called up and explained to Tyrone that it would take a while for us to travel to Hampstead so evening viewings were preferred – it wasn't an issue at all for him which we were delighted with. Tyrone allowed us to view one particular property we liked in the evening a few times which really helped us make our decision. During viewings, he didn't out any pressure on us and always answered any queries we had very quickly. He really went the extra mile and we're happy to say that because of his commitment we got the property we wanted. We've now settled into our new home and couldn't be happier. Also, on a side note – We recently purchased a small 2 bed property up in Oxfordshire that we intend on letting out after it's renovated. The Hampstead Branch of Anscombe and Ringland consists of a dream team who have the skill to complement each other. The Sales Team not only managed to sell the family home speedily (which left the probate team aghast and somewhat dismayed) but also achieved a high but fair price. My sister and I had shopped around looking at other real estate agents but none impressed us as much as these two: Oliver Lewis and Harrison Youngs. Oliver Lewis is a brilliant salesman and I would say he has the ability to charm the birds out of the trees. His enthusiasm for whichever house he is selling (awkward, quirky, 70's kitchen etc) is infectious. His positive attitude and energy will attract prospective sellers to choose him. Plus he is very supportive of his team mate and readily gives credit where credit is due (Harrison for getting an excellent price...) Harrison is also an enthusiastic sales agent and has the ability to bring the dream like aspect of house selling (when the buyers first fall in love) and translate it into the reality of a cash agreement (involving mortgage, repairs etc). He is an excellent negotiator who is able to set the price for a house well above what the vendor would have originally thought possible but not so high so as to lose the potential buyer. Plus he has that certain tenacious quality that when the buyers start to hesitate or quibble over niggling practical details, Harrison keeps his cool, maintains a steady gaze, keeping his eye on the prize, thus ensuring that the sale goes through with a high and fair price. In the last few days before the deal finally closed, I felt that as his "client" my back was covered. I knew that with this particular eclectic house we needed a special and talented team and Anscombe and Ringland (Hampstead branch) did not disappoint. My sister and I both agreed that they are an incredible team and have successfully brought us through the whole process of selling the beloved family home to a happy and positive conclusion.

I had an excellent experience dealing with Steve, Simon and everyone in this office and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for apartment in London. I am a USA resident, whose son is attending graduate school at UCL and had the task of finding and securing and apartment while 3,500 miles away. My son did the work of locating several apartments on the Anscombe & Ringland Hampstead Lettings website. Once he located the flats I handled everything with Steve via email. When the first apartment we found was no longer available Steve quickly found us an alternative and explained the reasons why it was a better flat and location for our needs, and he was correct. I had some concerns about a financial transaction of this size without being physically on site, seeing touching and shaking hands but in the end everything was perfect and as expected. In Summary the below are my Key Points in judging this transaction - Responsive, always answered me in a timely fashion - Fair – Helped me negotiate fair terms for our situation - Transparency – Helped me understand the rental laws in the UK. - Market knowledge – Matched us with the perfect flat, in a nice building. Steven is one of the most well informed agents that I have ever come across, through the beginning search, to finding the right flat for me which we thought 55A Belsize Park was going to be the one, to actually taking me to see an off market 3 bed at Belsize Place that I wouldn’t have known about without him. He made sure that the moving dates worked as well as overseeing everything to run through smoothly from start to finish with the contracts. Unfortunately two of his colleagues Sussana and Zara were not very helpful, once they received the money they ignored me, the money for the flat was paid a year in advance from overseas, there was £4,500 missing by mistake and so another transaction had to be made from overseas, confirmations and proofs has been sent straight away yet that was not enough, so I had to send the money again from a UK account. Once that had been made, no one helped me to get the keyes , Sussana and Zara were constetely on a break, when I contacted Steven and explain to him the situation he helped me sort it out straight away. Thank you Steven for helping me all the way through and not ignoring me even after getting the money.
