i have been looking for 3 years for an apartment to my liking in the St John's wood and Made Vale area . i dealt with few agencies . But then i got introduced to Chancelors through my family that have been their clients for so many years . Dealing with Chancelors was prompt and focused . we had two visits during which we visited few properties .The first visit properties were not as expected . But the second visit only we found the required apartment as by then the Chancelors consultants became aware of our preference and suggested accordingly . We did not have to take 100 trips to less liked apartments . I dealt with Adam , Ian and Dean. I wish to particularly command Dean on his professionalism .We were met by some challenges with the seller and his solicitor . Dean stepped in and managed very well what could have turned into a conflict . He showed exceptional negotiations and communication skills both ways and he made sure both parties were happy with the final arrangement . Dealing with Dean was a pleasure and I recommend his leadership and his efficiency for those that wish to buy a property in a prompt manner .

I bought my first property through A&R three years ago. Lucy was the selling agent and she been extremely helpful, has been chasing the lawyers to make sure the transaction closes ASAP. She was also very honest with us. Three years later when it comes the time for us to move, we contacted A&R to sell our property. Lucy was on leave but her colleagues Dean and Jack were extremely helpful and they managed to find me a buyer off market in record time. Once a buyer was secured, Nick, who looked after house sales, helped us secure the dream house we wanted expeditiously. The whole process was at times difficult and took almost 2 months from the seller agreeing to the offer to exchange, but the team from A&R was always at hand to help. Completing a purchase through a chain in the current environment in London is always difficult, I am glad that through A&R we managed to have it done. When the time comes for us to sell our house, we will definitely go back to A&R for their help.

Selling and buying is a big risk and plunge especially in these times of rapidly increasing prices and low availability but, I have done them both successfully with the help of Nicholas Madden-Kenny at A & R St John's Wood. The thing is that both these processes don't just require an offer or finding a suitable place but need perseverance to get the conveyancing done and this is what I acquired from the services of this very competent agency. First of all I must courteously state this was undoubtedly a five star service from Gideon. I first met Gideon back in April, initially registering my details in search of my dream 3 bedroom apartment to buy in St Johns Wood. We met Gideon Heilpern when we expressed interest in buying a property in SJW. I was immediately impressed with how professional and personable he was. My husband and I are very different people and he seemed able to connect with us each equally and mediate our views on the property (an invaluable skill for an agent to have). He was patient and accommodating - meeting us on 3 separate occasions to view the property. He was always punctual and never made us feel rushed. He had a good sense of space and architecture which helped during the "brainstorming" process of how the property could be renovated and space best utilized. Ultimately, we decided we were not in a position to buy the property. However, Gideon left such a positive impression that when, several months later, we decided to move to St Johns Wood and rent I immediately contacted him. Unfortunately, he works exclusively on sales and so was unable to accompany us on our rental search.
