We have rented out a flat in Barnes for nearly 25 years and we have used a range of local agents. As Chestertons now have an office at the end of our road I decided to ask them to deal with future rentals. I have been extremely impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Both Sebastian and Jessica worked tirelessly to find new tenants in the most difficult of circumstances, with the bridge being recently closed. They updated me on a regular basis, were always quick to respond and were a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended Chestertons to others.

I was very impressed by Edward Rice (Ed) who helped me greatly to rent out my house in London last summer under not the best market conditions (for landlords). I was a bit nervous at the beginning what to expect as a new inexperienced landlord living abroad with tenants in a very different time zone, so I also got Chestertons to manage my rented property for me. As before, I am pleasantly surprised by how smooth it has turned out under Ed's professionalism. Ed contacts me when he absolutely needs my decision and takes care the rest with the tenants on my behalf. Ed also responses to my requests swiftly as always when I am not familiar dealing with rental matters, for example, various billing accounts, and has given me effective professional advice to help me to resolve them. We have recently bought through Chesterton's. There are few more stressful events in life than buying a home. Stuart Bridge has been absolutely fantastic and has guided all parties through the process in a very professional and calm manner. Estate agents can be quite pushy and awkward to try to get a sale quickly through. Stuart was not at all. Very patient and accommodating he arranged for us to view the property as many times as we asked and then navigated through all the transactional details as we moved to completion. However, as they say, all it takes is the one and thats what Chesterton's were able to provide - a strong, good quality sale to a genuine purchaser. Where Chestertons really showed how great they are was having a sales associate like Marnia with excellent work ethic, who was dedicated from sale through to completion, never taking her eye off the ball. We honestly believe it if wasn't for her dealing the other solicitors and agents through the chain it could have fallen apart.
