It struck me when recently searching for a property to rent in Maida Vale that agents generally don't have a clue what clients need - they often don't call you back and they don't seem to want to get to know your needs. Compton Reeback though have got it nailed. Dealing with Sam in particular was so easy - he gets back to you very quickly with any questions you have and he's pro-active when it comes to letting you know about new properties that have come on the market. A great 5 star agent that really sets themselves above the rest.

I could not possibly recommend Compton Reeback more highly. Genuinely astounded at how incredible their service has been. Right the way through from Sam and Gael taking me to viewings, with relatability, honesty and ease, to Brian now being the most incredibly helpful agent managing the apartment. Back at university in Birmingham I had what I believed to be a pretty standard (disappointing) landlord experience, but now I understand what the rental experience CAN be like. An experience of respect and trust, one in which the agent replies super quick to emails and requests and can have a serviceman round the very next day, a service in which they really CARE about your living situation and any issues you face and a company which are just generally lovely, sound people. Renting in London can be very stressful, with navigating all the utility/travel costs and coming to such a new, big city, and you won't realise how helpful a caring estate agent is until you experience Compton. I'm writing this review, even though we didn't pursue our purchase via this agency, as I was very impressed with Mark Whapham. After searching via Rightmove, my husband and I met many agents and Mark stands above the crowd as deeply informed about the properties he's representing, the building where they reside, the street of their location, and the neighborhood. He is also very respectful during a viewing allowing you to experience bits on your own and discover the key elements. I would have loved to pursue a purchase with him in the process as his professional demeanor is a godsend.

If you are searching for a house/flat around Maida Vale then Compton Reeback is the BEST option for you. One of the agents, Sam, was always timely with his emails, confirmed certain details of my requests prior to move in, and checked in with me to ensure I was happy to the agreement. Keeping in mind that I had a horrible experience with another high-volume property management company, my view on these management firms has changed a bit since negotiating and working with CRE. Another agent, Brian, made sure to be in the office a bit earlier than opening so I was able to sign off documents, collect keys on my move in day, and advised on some additional works (I hadn't requested) were performed on the property. They took the time to check in, see if I had questions, or any issues before/after move in. That is the type of personal touch I appreciate, especially since finding, negotiating, and relocating isn't the easiest thing to do in London.
