My father rented a property from Davies and Davies for over 5 years and I really couldn't fault them at any point. When he moved in he was in the early stages of Dementia, and as time went on his illness progressed further. The staff were always so kind to him and they always responded very promptly to any issues he had, which gave us so much reassurance that he was safe and happy in his flat. In my opinion they went above and beyond what I would have expected. My dad has just moved from his flat into a care home, he was able to stay in his rented flat for so long because the staff at Davies and Davies cared about his wellbeing. For the above reasons I highly recommend them as landlords. All of the staff I spoke to and came into contact with were polite and helpful. Katrina was especially kind to dad.

We first used Davies and Davies to rent out our flat in Stroud Green in North London about 10 years ago, largely because they were a local business that was very supportive of our children's primary school. Their professional service was very good, and we have subsequently leased our flat through them four or five times. Davies and Davies have always been very prompt and courteous and efficient in marketing the flat and finding tenants for us, and in 7 or 8 years of letting we have never had any problems with any of the tenants they found for us. I am happy to recommend them very highly.

Davies & Davies is the best estate agency I've ever used. I moved in london 8 years ago so I've had my fair share of estate agents and I can confidently say that D & D are by far the best one. Over the last few months we had quite a few serious issues, independant from D & D, and yet they have been so efficient and professional through it all, they helped us a lot to improve every situations, especially Katrina, who's our agent. I have used Davies and Davies as my managing agent for over 20 years and can highly recommend them. I have several properties with them and have never had a tenant default on rent. The tenants are chosen and referenced by the agency who only put forward responsible professional people. I feel it is important to be responsible as a landlord and always adhere to current property legislation. Davies and Davies make this process very easy and take tenants safety and needs very seriously as well as the desires and expectations of landlords. Repairs have always been dealt with efficiently by Davies and Davies and always at reasonable prices. To sum up I would say Davies and Davies exemplify good professional practice.

My husband and i rented a 'long-tern' property on Davies and Davies books. Granted it is not them who are the landlord but we felt they held the landlords best interests over ours. We had mice/rats/a dirty house on moving in (where they were given the chance to re-clean after me having done most of it)/ no hot water in the kitchen for 4 months amongst many other things. When we moved out (after just 7 months on the landlords request because they had friends of friends moving in) they came to us with £160 of extras including £80 of cleaning for taking a milk carton out of the fridge (the fridge was spotless otherwise), wiping down a corner of debris behind removed curtains, wiping one shelf in a bathroom cabinet and wiping one strip of skirting - which was by no means clean when we moved in. When we lived there the landlord would take weeks to respond to our issues when we moved there (apparently travelling the world) and Davies & Davies charging an extortionate fee for what would take half an hour cleaning is an example of the clear disregard of the tenants finances. After a couple of emails they also refused to continue to liaise with us and the landlord in trying to find a fair result. Dont know if this is standard and it can't have been helped by the greedy landlord but Davies & Davies dont have the tenants best interests at heart!
