I engaged Dexter to rent out my flat in the City and Dexter’s provided an honest and professional service. I don’t expect much from estate agents these days, but Dexter’s especially took the time to explain the market and understand the tenant I was looking for. Rather than bothering me with bureaucratic details, they took it upon themselves to do the legwork, and after only 2 days of viewings we had a fantastic offer. I would like to single out Tommy and Jilka for their fantastic and friendly service. I’m currently finalizing the documents for my new flat and, so far, I’ve had a great experience with Dexters! John was extremely helpful and proactively reached out to me with a flat that was pretty much what I wanted. He helped me through the offer process that led me to getting the flat. Their website for providing documentation and dealing with all the bureaucracy (e.g. background check, tenancy agreement) has also been quite good. The flat is managed by Dexters and I was impressed by how clean everything was compared to my previous experience renting. I also had some repair requests to make to the landlord and I was able to do that quickly with the help from Lee, who works in the Property Management department. I emailed them and in the same day, Lee called the landlord and arranged all the necessary repairs. So far, I couldn't be happier with the support that I'm getting!!!

Jilka is a ‘one in a million’ estate agent and I do not say that without careful consideration, thought and evidence. I have never met an estate agent who cares so much about their clients. From the very outset she telephoned me to clarify my requirements for a property search. Really taking an interest in what I was looking for, and giving me well thought out advice in reciprocation based on her experience and knowledge of the area and the market. She did all of this in a friendly professional manner and with good humour. It was clear she has excellent inter-personal skills. She then set about offering and finding properties for me that met my criteria in a proactive manner. She kept in touch by phone and she made me feel like I was her only client, even though I’m sure she was extremely busy. One of Jilka’s stand out characteristics is her honesty and integrity. From humble experience these are rare qualities to find in an estate agent but I can say unequivocally Jilka has these qualities in abundance. She doesn’t try and pull the wool over your eyes, she listens and she respects your decision and opinion. She thinks about your security and safety and all angles. Most of all she is just good fun and positive about life in general which rubs off on you. By way of summary I’d like to share that my uncle is the retired senior managing partner of a southern estate agent. I told him about Jilka and he said ‘professionals like her are few and far between’ and he was very happy that estate agents like Dexters were bringing on board such young talent!
