He was always available to talk things through and offer friendly advice, guiding me through the process. I can’t recommend them enough and if I was to buy/sell again I would certainly pick Dexters!

P. A.Jake was brilliant - got a lot of potential buyers through the door very quickly and had an offer agreed within 8 days of instruction. Also managed the buyer very well through to the handover to Garry, the deal progressor. Garry was also very active and did well considering the circumstances he was up against - those being (i) an exceptionally difficult set of solicitors for the buyer, and (ii) what I would perceive to be a need for an extra pair of hands due to, at times, seeming as if he was spread quite thin with the sheer deal volume across the different patches he was tasked with.
The only significant complaint we would have would be the solicitors used by the buyer, who happen to be one of Dexters' panel solicitors. Thomas Legal were obstructive, slow, opaque and evasive at every turn and, on occasion, seemed set on tanking the deal. Deeply un-commercial all round and I would question why they are panel solicitors for a decent estate agent with significant deal volume.
Provided that you don't encounter Thomas Legal, Jake and his team are the ones to get your property sold.

From this point there was a little but of a transition period where we were then looked after by Tal and Gary as we got the legals completed. I can only say that during this period, all conversations were above and beyond what we expected, even with the pressure of the June stamp duty time frame to go against. M. W.Selling your house is always a testing and stressful experience but Gabriel and Leah at Dexters Abbeville Road, Clapham tried and succeeded in taking much of that on their own shoulders. Rory, the local director, priced our house realistically, explaining the logic of his recommendation and then all the local team visited the house so they could describe it to potential purchasers and answer any questions without bothering us. They also vetted potential purchasers so we did not feel bothered by time-wasters. However, the best was in the support after accepting an offer. Although we had purchased another property before offering our home for sale, of necessity our buyers were part of a chain and Leah and Gabriel worked hard to keep us updated on progess and piecing together what was happening. Agreeing the sale did not mean Dexters lost interest, indeed they became more involved with their support for us all the way through to exchange.

Josh takes a different approach to most, in that he asks for an hour of your time and shows you things he thinks might be of interest (rather than just the one you've asked to see). This worked a treat for us, as we didn't like the one we initially asked to see, but did really like another that we'd seen online and dismissed from the photos/description.
Once the offer was accepted, we were passed to Talvinder (Tal) in the sales team, who shepherded the deal through. There were a few snags and fraught moments along the way, but Tal kept on the case, and finally we're in.
