J. S.Not a company I would consider using again.....unless I wanted to find a good quality tenant quickly! (sorry this is a tad long but necessary) In short, I have a property that I had been marketing for rental since the middle of July. I chose two agents (not Dexters) in the village who both told me that the rent I was seeking was definitely "toppy".(as did Dexters) Indeed, in two and a half months I had 3 viewings in all. To be fair to both of these agents, July/August is a rubbish time to market rentals. I received a call from Dexters (Annaleigh) and, to be frank I found her a bit too pushy for my liking and told her that if the property hadn't rented by first week of October I would "give Dexters a go". I am very friendly with the manager of that office and he mentioned to me that his rental team were "sh*t hot" and that they didn't rely upon the big rental property portals alone but used good old fashion phoning up. (Sounded a load of tosh to me but whatever...Anyway, true to my word I let them market the property and, as God is my witness, they found a mega quality applicant in 3 days who moved in 5 days later. With no disrespect intended to the other agents (who I would use again), I was amazed at the efficiency of the Annaleigh and the Dexters team who I initially thought of as a bit similar to another agency (think bushy tail remembering that their ain't an agent called "Squirrels" as far as I know) who I would never use again after a bad experience.) BTW, I accepted an offer just 3% less than I was asking. Maybe they struck lucky or maybe not but their enthusiasm is infectious. One thing that I was very impressed with was that they did a pre-rental inspection on behalf of the new tenant pointing out items that I certainly hadn't noticed that had to be fixed. I am pleased to offer hearty recommendation to Annaleigh and her team.
