It’s no doubt that getting a house in London can be an absolute stress and feel like a part-time job. Tom Jacob’s at Dexters was amazing at getting us the perfect flat in a ridiculously short time line. He was constantly on top of anything that needed done to get the property sorted and was able to give sound advice throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend tom to anyone else looking to get the flat London - especially if you’re trying to get one for a dog as well!

Out of all of the agencies and agents we contacted our sales consultant Joe was the only one to speak to us in advance to find out exactly what we we were looking for and offer to book in other viewings for properties that weren't on our radar. We selected Dexters after my property had been on the market for over a year. A number of previous agents blamed the lack on interest on the economy and other factors that were not possible to change. Hugh from Dexters was immediately different in his attitude and his proposed strategy and the property was successfully sold within a few weeks. Personally, I believe that Dexters' internal processes, communication and attitude of the team is conducive to be effective. They use a CRM system so understand exactly what was told to the vendor by a colleague and are able to respond promptly and efficiently. Even in an erratic market, understanding that there are matches to be made between buyers and sellors, it's simply a case of trying different ways to achieve that - is an excellent approach to business. Last summer I arranged my present tenancy through Aida Margjeka of Maida Vale Dexters. After our first visit to Dexters, Aida quickly and comprehensively understood what kind of property we (myself and another sharer) were looking for, and not long after called us back to offer a viewing for a suitable property that was not yet on the market. After falling in love with the flat, Aida's know-how helped us derive a tenancy terms that appealed to the landlord and also suited us. The terms were accepted by the landlord the same day we had agreed them, and no more than two weeks later everything had been done and dusted. However, when I wanted over a year later to change one of the names on the tenancy, it took about 2 months for this to be done. This was partly waiting for the owner of the flat to approve it. the owner wasn't exactly speedy in their decision, exacerbated by Dexters who seem to have some sort of hierarchy meaning only a very select number of people can actually contact the owner. What made it worse is that the contract required at least 3 iterations of corrections before it was ready to sign. These could have been easily picked up earlier and saved everyone a lot of time.

It’s unbelievable how the moving out being done from the letting administration in this office, I have been told we don’t do it here in this office you have to contact different offices and places, to do the move out I had to contact different department and office. I and landlord agreed to release my deposits but the estate agency told me it will takes up to 10 days, and if you want the next day we can do it but £30.00 will be charge for it, it's being more than a 7days but they haven't send it back to me, They can do it if I pay them but with out payment will take more than 10 days!! And after a week when I called regarding this matter I have been told it will take 10 working days that's mean 14 days!! It’s unprofessional and they don’t care about the tenant all they do care is landlord and fees... I have given the 3 stars because some staff are nice and where helpful to me.
