C. G.After a terrible experience with Purple Bricks, I decided to use a proper Estate agents and Dexters were the only ones that replied to my calls. I'm so glad they did.
Lara's expertise was immediately evident as she let me know I was able to sell both the shared ownership percentage and 100% of my flat. First time round, I sold within a week (3 viewings!) but unfortunately circumstances meant that sale wasn't to be. When it went back onto the market, Michael, Lara and all of the other people that conducted viewings were excellent, professional and courteous. Lara stayed in contact at all times and was very persistent in helping get the sale through to the end, especially since I'm sure she had lots of other clients that were all trying to make it before the Stamp Duty deadline as well.

In 2019 my mother passed and we were faced with selling her flat into a very difficult housing market. Dexters gave us unfailingly good advice but accepted our decisions when we didn't follow quite what they said. They made a beautiful brochure and web link for the flat. We've had a string of people interested in buying it and an offer but we know we're holding out for a bit more than the market wants to give. Dexters have been patient with us and always supportive. Detail: Once officially engaging with Dexters, Jack Hargreaves in particular, it quite literally took less than 4 working days until there were multiple offers on the flat, with one offer accepted.
The flat had been on with a previous local agent for the previous 6 months, without a single offer made. During our initial strategy meeting at the flat, Jack was professional, courteous and engaging. He took his time to talk through multiple strategies for sale, and promptly followed up with an email (the same day) to summarise what had been discussed. On the 1st day of engagement, multiple members from the Dexters team came to the flat to have 1st-hand experience and understanding of the flat. Lara Williams, Georgina Lench, Charlie Chichester Kaner and James - all of whom were supremely professional and competent. I know I am missing one person from this list, sorry! Reassuringly, never once did I have to answer the same question twice from any of the team. The entire team were well briefed, clearly cooperated with each-other well, and had memorised particulars of the flat.
On that same 1st day the viewings commenced. Within 72 hours we had multiple offers. On day 4 we accepted an offer. Those who have sold before know that it is always a tense time, and at times emotional. Jack was very good at speaking confidently about the strategy of negotiation, and was able to interpret my intent quickly and expertly. It was a relief to know that Jack and his team were there to support the sale. Jack was also not afraid to say what needed to be said during times of vacillation.
I could not recommend this agency and this team more highly.

I was actually looking for another estate agents and I couldn’t find it so I walked into the battersea sales office on Saturday and was greeted by a girl called Lola I believe, she was extremely friendly and had a lovely aura I explained I had no idea how the whole process of buying a house worked as my partner was away on work and he normally does all the talking and I just view the houses, she was amazing in explaining everything and I felt no pressure at all to use Dexter’s as my agents. She gave me specifics to some houses which she thought would best suit my needs and said I could register my details whenever I felt ready.
