Dorian Terry gave me excellent advice at the outset and Jamie Nash manages the property and has brought in some excellent people to carry out various works. He is quick to respond to any requests from either the tenant or myself and I am very happy to recommend Dexters.

On the viewings he had a wealth of knowledge of all the properties, he was well presented and friendly.
All though in the end none of them were my cup of tea, since then he has been in daily contact with new properties. It's nice to not be end of a sales pitch when looking for new property as for the most part it gives estate agents a bad name when coming to buy property. B.Upon my university forcing our entire accommodation building to vacate for “emergency maintenance,” I started looking off-campus for a place to live with a current flatmate. We were both busy with work placement, final assignments, the impending holiday season (I can’t exactly travel back to the states during a pandemic), and our waning mental health statuses; however, upon hearing of our situation, Chloe worked to get us the flat that literally overlooks our old accommodation building. She was kind, responsive, and even when we were difficult (whether it be because we overslept or had absolutely no idea how to really go about the process of anything real-estate-related), she would offer advice and consolation.
Towards the end of the process, Chloe and her colleague, Leila, worked through an entire weekend to fit a process that usually could have taken a few weeks into about five days. Leila, like Chloe, was responsive and helpful, even explaining a foreign guarantor process to me.
My friend and I are the last people to move out of the “unsafe” halls - but we have a beautiful flat to call our own. I’m sure there will be many more flats and letting agencies in my lifetime, but I doubt I’ll ever forget the kindness and efficiency shown by Dexter’s.
My absolute only complaint lies on the mild unprofessional tactics displayed at times - but these relied on circumstances that would have easily caused others - let alone myself - to break. Fully warranted, and frankly, I appreciated the humanity at the end of the day.

My only negative is that the deposit and first month's rent was required a whole 2 months before the tenancy started, which I cannot say I've come across before with other agencies. But they didn't charge us for agency fees, even though that hadn't legally come into affect yet.

C. B.From the first viewing, I have been impressed by the friendly and thoroughly professional way that Sara Ali from Dexter's Putney Office has gone about her work. As the purchaser, I might have expected for the estate agents to be distant or even evasive. This was certainly not the case, and it was apparent that Sara was able to employ her experience and understanding of the local property market in order to secure the best outcome for her clients - completing the sale.
I would also single out the fact that Dexters employ a 'troubleshooter'(in the form of the seemingly unflappable Becci) specifically to act as a liaison point between the different solicitors and other parties to ensure things go smoothly. I had reason to call on her more than once as unfortunately the sellers had elected to choose a firm of solicitors who were, to be kind, apparently rather laid back rather than proactive. Dexters were able to act as an efficient intermediary and kept me informed and on-board when I had the option of considering other properties listed elsewhere..
In summary, I found Sara and her colleagues helpful throughout the process and would not hesitate to recommend them if you are thinking of placing your property on the market.
