He is such a nice person, always available and clear about all you need to know. My girlfriend and I had a great experience dealing with Reggie at Dexters. We had seen quite a few places with other agencies that were generally not great. He showed us 2 places. The first was a great property, but just wasn't quite right for us. After the viewing he kindly gave us a private moment to discuss, whereas other agents we'd dealt with had felt quite forceful, Reggie wasn't, and listened to why the first place wasn't quite right and suggested another place he could show us the next morning. By the following Thursday they had found a tenant. 8 days later all checks and paperwork were completed and the tenant had moved in, so all in all it was started and completed in 11 days! Specifically, Jay has gone above and beyond on several occasions to help enable smooth transitions in contracts, liaising with the landlord and communicating with the other Dexter teams. Pros: - Some staff (e.g. Annie) are friendly, helpful, prompt, and professional. - You're bound to find at least once nice flat; great listings. - Lots of branches mean that if one closes, another one nearby can help - update: Jay from Dexters read my review, sorted out my contract regarding cancellations. Super impressed by turnaround time. Cons listed below, while they don't affect me now, are still things worth considering, it's remarkable that Jay has gone out of his way to get this done immediately and explain the issues below in further detail too. Cons: - I was told to set up a S/O for my rent with less than 24hours (or just about). This was even more challenging as I was abroad at the time; luckily a senior staff member said the SO can be arranged at a later date but just caused a lot of unnecessary pressure, and an international phone bill too (to call Dexters and my bank). - Email communications began to get a bit patchy once I paid my deposit and set up my S/O. I appreciate that as a (for lack of better words) "secure" client, I can be answered later – however, the difference in service before and after payment was stark. Not a branch-specific comment, but some Dexters staff members can be pushy. This isn't just rates of calls, but stretching budgets. I was asked several times to consider flats that required £20-30 more per week, despite me saying that I didn't want to explicitly do this. None of the WH branch members have done this (to my knowledge) but something to bear in mind.

Dexters Feedback I sold my house of 25 years in Cricklewood, North West London, with Dexters, completing the sale at the end of August 2019. The sale, marketing and management were taken care of by Felix Brown and the team at the Dexters West Hampstead office. From the offset, I was a little apprehensive about the whole process due to, firstly, the current UK financial climate and secondly, once the house was sold I planned to emigrate to New Zealand. With Dexters at the helm I need not have worried, as I now live in New Zealand. In terms of the selling process, Felix and colleagues communicated with me on a weekly basis both verbally and by email. Property viewings were coordinated and managed in an extremely professional and courteous manner. There were quite a few viewings but Felix identified the buyer within 6 weeks of my home being on the market. Realistically, buying and selling property can be a stressful process, but my experience with Dexters was excellent from start to finish.

I have been a client with Martin and Wright for a number of years. I have always found Jay Hayden and his team highly organised, professional and efficient. They don't claim to be the cheapest company on the letting market, but indeed what you are getting is very much 'total value for money'. When the company changed over to Dexters, I was a little concerned about how this may affect the quality of service I had been receiving. However, I need not have worried - as standards are now even higher (if that was at all possible!). Incidentally, Tina Repton is their highly efficient Property Manager and certainly gets things done! When my current tenants made me aware they were not going to renew their lease, I decided to test the Purplebrick approach. Yes, I was tempted in by the initial price, but quickly realised that in many respects, I was wasting my money due to them not really understanding my requirements or marketing the property correctly (ie..phoning up potential tenants and arranging viewings). I guess the old saying 'You only get what you pay for' is so true. After discussing the matter further with Jay Hayden at Dexters (And eating humble pie!), within 24 hours or him marketing my property' he found me suitable tenants. I should add that I am not related or connected in anyway to Dexters, but just one of those traditional people who appreciates honesty, professionalism and high quality customer care. This is something Jay, Tina and their team have in abundance, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
