She and her team, to include Steve Kadi the Associate Director, are first rate professionals, and I will strongly endorse and recommend them. Margit had strong relations with the seller, and her ability to pick up the phone to iron out the wrinkles associated with the flat sale/purchase, was greatly beneficial to both parties. The service I received from Green&Co was first class. Their knowledge of the area was spot on and we had another well known Estate Agent trying to sell our property, but not only did they get us more viewings but they also got us our highest offer. I just bought my very first property via Greene & Co and the few people I dealt with from Maida Vale office (Nick and Steve) were very helpful and contributed to a very smooth and trouble-free sale. During searching phase, I started consulting Zoopla on a regular basis but quickly found that 95% of the properties I liked were on G&C so towards the end, I was looking at G&C website almost exclusively. The few Saturday viewings I went to were pleasant experiences. Sometimes a bit hectic to line up 3 or 4 properties in a row but they always provide good quality leaflets for each property which really helps. Punctual staff. During offer stage, obviously they are more on the seller's side trying to push prices up so if you're a buyer do prepare yourself for some good negotiations, but on that front I found them to be reasonable and very professional. Once the price was agreed, they were very efficient at pushing things forward with solicitors, seller, surveyors and other parties involved. Took less than 2 months between offer acceptance and exchange of contracts. All in all, I highly recommend.

Steve immediately made me feel comfortable as there was no pressure selling, just straight talking. I decided to go with Greene and Co or I should say go with Steve. After a few potential buyers, it was decided what price we should be seeking and having done that, I got a buyer who was genuine and had the money to pay for it, credit to Steve and the team for carrying out due diligence as £600k is not exactly chicken feed and not everyone can either afford it or persuade their bank to give them that amount! In all honesty I found Richard Baum to be in a weird, successful, counter-intuitive 'Hey, do you know the cha-cha-cha' way a very good estate agent. I remember during the transaction that he cried a lot to me down the phone (benzedrine, peer pressure and late night ambition) and that helped me in turn feel more secure about myself and my own station in life. I remember Richard talking at length in rapid breathes not only about his aunt's life off the A406, where best to catch a guitar, but also the politics of the seventies and the missed opportunity that characterised the Wilson administration. I can't help but look back on our time together fondly; he desperate on one end of the phone ('Tell them you'll include the dishwasher') and I disengaged and arrogant on the other ('Just sell it or I'll flog it to those cretins at Foxtons.') Sure I didn't agree with his games of political Yahtzee but the guy sold my flat. What do you want?
