I recently exchanged on a property with KFH. The team (Philip and Jon) were great, I could not have asked for better agents. Philip was able to arrange several viewings for me over the course of the buying process going the extra mile to ensure they were times that worked for me. It was not an easy purchase and ran into serval bumps along the way. Both Philip and Jon worked well to keep the purchase on track and maintain conference is the vendor despite these issues. I'd been trying to find a tenant for two months and had been using the lettings agent that I'd used in the past. They weren't finding anyone and so I searched for another local tenant and found KFH. Fergus, the manager, dealt with my query immediately and offered me favourable rates without me needing to drag it out! They were always courteous and moreover, they found me what is proving to be so far an absolutely fantastic tenant. Christopher Hulme was especially great. The tenant was arriving by plane on the Sunday morning and Chris drove in from his home especially to meet her at their office to verify her passport before handing her the keys. And then he walked with her and her three suitcases to meet me at the property! Up til then everything had been done virtually as the tenant was overseas. It wasn't an easy one but Chris and Fergus dealt with it all as if the tenant had been down the road! A great agent and highly recommended.

Amanda herself is really a stand-out performer and should be commended on her friendly and well-informed approach (at no stage did we feel pushed into a contract either). Fergus likewise, taking time whilst on holiday to help out. The only area for improvement (hence 4* not 5*) is making sure that once the offer is agreed, that the actual execution of contract is hurried along and that people are all over it. Several times we had to chase to either confirm something was as expected (it was, just hadn’t been communicated, so no real issue) or to engage in next steps - typically due to summer holidays. Despite this, I would have no issue recommending them and would hope to use them again - Amanda / Fergus certainly made this process a lot less stressful than it otherwise could have been!

My KFH experience from Dominic Martin was unforgettable. I had set out to look for a 2 bedroom apartment to rent with a friend of mine. We had initially entered KFH first from our list of estate agents. KFH were extremely helpful and responsive from the second I had stepped in to KFH clerkenwell till the second I had left. In addition, when I had left the branch, I was still receiving helpful information and updates from Dominic Martin which had shown me how much passion the gentleman has for his clients satisfaction. However, as myself and my friend waited for our viewings. We thought we'd pop into Foxtons, (worst decision ever). Once entering Foxtons the receptionist was friendly and had taken our details, then sat us down to wait for the lettings negotiater. 5 minutes or so later, a female named Daniela Fernandes who works at Foxtons Clerkenwell had approached us. She had approached us with her mind shut and eyes half closed. She had spoken to us as if she had 1 minute left of her shift. Nevertheless, she showed us a few properties and had arranged an appointment for Monday the 31st of August at 1PM. So myself and my friend, we strolled into the store as you would do for an appointment and we were asked to have a seat. So after waiting a little while the receptionists approached us and asked us if we had actually had an appointment. I replied yes of course that's why we're here. She replied, oh but she's just gone out with her clients for some viewings. So I replied so you're telling me that she had not taken us seriously and didn't book us in. The receptionist replied yes which was quite frustrating. So we were informed to wait an hour till she comes back. Therefore, we waited an hour and after an hour we were told by a man that also works at the worst estate agents I have ever been to that she will be in a meeting with me now, it's best you go home and I will get her to call you. So we listened and left. However, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. No phone call!!! Therefore, after this terrible service I have decided to write this review on how amazing KFH clerkenwell are, how they provide a world class service and how terrible Foxtons clerkenwell Daniella Fernandes is at taking care of her clients. I immensely value service and KFH has provided me with an unforgettable experience which I hope to remember forever and learn of the service they had provided me with. Dominic Martin is a top man!

I met a lot of estate agents whilst searching for my first home together with my partner therefore I know I really landed the jackpot when I met Jonathon Clews. He is very trustworthy and did not deflect any questions, if he didn’t know the answer he would tell us honestly and do the research to find out for us. Ultimately you expect the estate agent to work primarily for the seller, however at every step of the way it felt like Jon had both parties' interests in mind. From the outset he went the extra mile from approaching the vendor with our offer and really selling us as buyers to walking us through to completion. Jon was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process, even after selling the property! He was very efficient at chasing the vendor when we had questions, he was very skillful at negotiating the property price when we found problems and he recommended other highly qualified professionals who have turned out to be very good (I highly recommend Andy and Karol at Refresh for damp work). We also had some problems with our own solicitor and Jon went so far as to chase him with us. On a personal note, Jon is a genuine, lovely guy that that really wanted to help us and the vendor and he definitely goes the extra mile to do so. It is not often people say that their estate agent was one of the highlights of buying their first home! The rest of the KFH team at the Islington office were great too, especially the manager James Ripp who was very responsive and incredibly helpful when conducting the surveys (he even helped book some of my surveys for me!!) and allowing me access to the flat at times convenient for me. Basically, when it comes to selling my flat down the line, I will be going through KFH!

As a professional individual in the property market, I am very aware of the processes and service that should be followed and provided to clients. As the seller of a property, I found myself on the other side of the fence in a particularly fraught market reeling from buy to let tax changes and the doom and gloom of Brexit! As such I sought reassurance by placing the flat on the market with a number of major players including Savills, Winkworths, Marsh and Parsons and KFH. Savills would be awarded 0/10, Marsh and Parsons 2/10, Winkworths 6/10 for effort. KFH exceeded my expectations. As with all property sales there will always be highs and lows, usually based on the lawyers or the banks and there was here, however the turnaround that Chris Rowe personally oversaw meant that things progressed swiftly after. I had DAILY phone calls to reassure/update me at one stage and they kept the property open for viewings throughout to ensure a PLAN B was in place. I have well and truly had my eyes opened by the london estate agents. Shocking is how I would describe the service of Savills who did not send me a SINGLE update from 27th July to October!! In fact I had to right move check my own property to remember which agent I had placed it for sale with as the communication was so poor. To conclude, Chris Rowe @ KFH is brilliant at what he does and provides a service that his competitors can not match (I speak from experience!). I hope KFH know how amazing you are Chris (and Rebekah!). Thank you both so much.
