I would highly reccomend KFH's services to anyone thinking about selling their property in the Upper/South Norwood area. We have had a fantastic experience with Amy at KFH. For a bit of background we put our flat on the market with another agency last year and in the 12 weeks we had it up with them we had one viewing. We switched to KFH and within 3 days they had new photos taken which made the flat look fantastic. We had around 20 viewings with in the first 8 weeks. When we had an offer accepted Amy navigated us through the process until completion. She was professional and always responded to emails and calls quickly. KFH do charge a fair bit more to some other agencies but I think it was worth it.

Wonderful service from start to finish from Amy. From giving us lifts to other house viewings not with KFH, through to unrelenting tenacity to push our purchase through to completion. We went from offer to move in within three months, and it would have dragged out longer without Amy's efforts. We didn't use KFH for our sale, but don't believe the blurb around online agents like Purple Bricks or Nested. They don't get you the price you want and they don't put in the hard yards that a reputable local agent does. On our sale we sold for £75k more than what Nested valued the house at and £50k higher than Purple Bricks' valuation. We also sold in a week. In short: use a local agent, and if you're in Crystal Palace, KFH would be a very good option.

I would caution other potential sellers that the price they quote doesn't include VAT. It caught me out when they first quoted - their argument is they don't get the money, but when it comes to knowing your fees - it's important for us as sellers to calculate the full cost. Having said that, they still do exactly what they say on the tin.

Good to have Tyrone - very calm, professional, won't try to get your business by dissing the competition - working on selling my house. Once the sale was agreed Mo took over. And they sit two desks away from each other, a huge improvement on some other estate agents where, once the sale has been agreed in principle, it gets shipped out to a "fulfilment centre" who don't really know what the salesman has or hasn't said. All my phone calls got answered promptly. Messages were dealt with and I got a call back whenever I asked for one. As a house buyer I have used OrangeBlocks and equivalent internet agents but it's a frustrating process for the buyer. So I recommend a traditional estate agent and having dealt with a few I say KFH Crystal Palace are among the best. The commission feels like a lot of money but it's a more-or-less standard rate. If you want to sell a house you get what you pay for.
