Only improvement would be KFH could have done more to prepare the seller, as there were quite long delays due to issues with the freeholder which could have been avoided if the initial contact was made when the property was put on the market instead of a few weeks after the offer was accepted.

I keep getting asked by the Estate Agents to write a review so to hopefully put an end to that I will write one. I was very disappointed with the service. Josh the agent was pleasant enough, but would often take a while to respond and I didn’t feel particularly valued as a customer. After agreeing the price with the sellers, and having the mortgage and everything in place it took four months to exchange and complete. Though this period I was consistently fobbed off about why there was a delay. There was very little transparency about what was going on and why the sellers were taking so long. I felt a bit despondent about it and was writing constantly to Josh and the solicitor they recommended me, to try and get answers. Incidentally I was suggested the solicitor because she was meant to be able to get stuff done fast. Obviously they get a commission. I say go with who you want. The sale only went through around the start of COVID lockdown likely because the sellers got spooked and perhaps from some pressure from KFH. I’m sure had that not been the case they’d have kept me waiting until whatever circumstances they felt were right for them were fulfilled. I was given the keys in an envelope but the KFH agent and they didn’t remove their sign until I emailed repeatedly. I took it down which damaged the rail. In all, really disappointing and stressful experience as a first time buyer. I’m not sure if other Estate Agents are better. But I don’t want relive this again anytime soon and I hope to not be emailedl about writing a review anymore.

We have let our property with KFH for around 4 years and 18 months ago sold our house in Kennington at the time of Brexit to retire outside of London. We first came across Justin when we were upsizing from Courtenay Square in 2005 to a larger house. The house had been on the market for 4 months with another agent in Kennington and we felt they were not very enthusiastic about what we were selling. Enter Justin and within 3 weeks the property was sold. In 2016 the house we bought was marketed through KFH. Justin sold this at a tricky time and his team who did the viewings were just as positive and all bumps were smoothed out and we were very happy with everything that was done by KFH. In terms of the lettings team they have been just as helpful as we are not the normal type of landlord. We like to meet anyone renting our property before we sign the contract as we feel at least they ought to know who we are and if we have reservations we can always say no thank you. Caroline and her team have always respected this and they are probably the only agents in and around SE11 that except we are more difficult than most but so far have always found us the ideal tenant for us. To sum KFH up with Justin and Caroline you have a very motivated team who are more than just estate agents going through the motions. They are the best I have dealt with in 46 years of buying, selling and renting out property. Its a matter of trust really and with todays environment it is the most important thing that you need in an estate agent and its what makes the team at KFH Kennington so good to deal with as you can 100% rely on the information from them

I had three agents round to quote and included KFH, as I knew of them, with strong, local SW9 presence. I also checked out online-only competitors like Purple Bricks. From the start Justin Bhody the manager was literally but also professionally head & shoulders above the competition. He had sold my house previously, so already knew it well. His local knowledge abounds. No sales pitch, just a good chat about the world, brexit, life and everything. I decided mid-meeting to commission KFH. Viewings in the dead market have been hard won and lots of personal relationships brought to bear by KFH, appropriate for my £1.2m asking price, introducing buyers and locals. But the market has yet to bounce back in last few months. A friend is selling at same price in SW4 with 2 viewings in 3 months, so an agent can make a difference. Mark O'Neil as assistant manager became my main contact, recently moving to the branch. Another seasoned pro, great and regular communicator, and I listened to his advice as the months moved on. I took his advice and it played out near-perfectly, as if it was scripted by Mark. We completed yesterday, just below revised asking price. Would Purple Bricks have found a buyer? Maybe, but with a quirky house, 7 figure asking price and the atrocious market? And the ongoing contact, advice and Mark's counseling were essential! I'm delighted with KFC's performance.
