Wonderful place...very green and wide open. Conveniently located near Cockfosters Underground station, the huge country park is place with natural beauty. The long walking path with tall trees on both sides is an ideal place for joggers. You can take the car inside the forest for picnic. The kids get entertained too. A perfect family outing venue in all weather.

This is without a doubt the best Country Park you will find in North London. The ideal place to go for a walk, relax in the sun, have a picnic and ride a bike. There are plenty of parking spaces, and a really nice cafe next to the car park. There is no better feeling than a walk around Trent Park, because you do get the feeling that you are in the countryside whilst admiring the stunning scenery.
I would strongly recommend anyone to bring a camera with, as there are plenty of opportunities to take decent Landscape and Nature stills. The best place to take photographs is around the open fields and of course The Japanese Garden!
If you are intending to travel to Trent Park via public transport then Cockfosters Station is approximately a 10-15 minutes walk from the main entrance.

Interesting park, with enough space to take the dog and kids for a good leg stretch. The water garden was a highlight and the cafe was very popular. The overflow carpark was really rutted and the public toilets were a bit naff, but functional.

I love taking my dog here. There's all sorts of areas to explore from thick woods, open fields, meadows, small rivers, lakes, paved paths (if you don't want to get to muddy), an obelisk, a couple of coffee shops and even a Japanese water garden.
Shame there's building work going on off to one side, where some houses are being built.

Is a big park and is just off the picadilly line or a few busses go here so easy to get to. Loads of parking on both ends of the park and on both sides there are free rest rooms that normally are pretty well maintained. On the main entrance from cockfoster side as a plus there's the Go Ape fun park and also a nice Caffe/ bar with food and drinks.
People here are friendly, the park is good for walking the dog or a Sunday stroll, loads of well maintained path to walk on and loads of benches to rest alongside them. Plenty of off the beaten track trail bike rides, MTB xc trails, you can go running on the main asphalted road or go trail running the whole outside perimeter I measured 8mi (if u did more let me know how) loads of ppl go here for bird watching, feeding the squirrells or the ducks, there's plenty to do and there's loads of wild life here.

A great place for walks during Covid. Trent park is well spaced out with wide paths so it is a good place for walks and allows you to keep socially distanced from other people. There is a good amount of parking (different areas) and different facilities on site. It was clean and there are different things to look at like the water gardens and an obelisk. Recommend if you want to have a walk during the Covid situation.
C. C.
Lovely place for kids.. explore the back of the park there is at least 2 other big lakes full of wild life.. recommend..
R. D.
Amazing natural unmanicured Park. Has everything, from forests to lakes to gardens. A little bit ruined by the huge housing development the are building but still nice. Has parking and a cafe and a little animal sanctuary for kids

A surprising place, seemed a bit small at first, but keep walking and you discover that it's huge. It feels so rural it's hard to believe that you are in London!
J. T.
Great park with lovely walking trails through the woods. There is a nice cafe that sells a good selection of teas and coffee and also a good selection of foods. We came a couple of years ago and did the GoApe adventure, that's worth a go. Anyhow highly recommended!
S. C.
I love this park especially when the daffodils are in bloom! Wear boots that keep out the wet mud but there are beautiful trails, perfect for dog walkers and picknicks.
M. N.
Superb place. Large park..Lots of woods..hidden secret treasures of trees lakes..obelisk. Camlot moat..a small island of land..cafe..free car park.. free toilet blocks. We have been using it for socials for many years.
S. C.
Nice Park with lake, parking on site is a big bonus. Do not stop for first parking lot, there are few further down.
Plenty of grass seating around lake with few benches.
People do fishing there too.
M. L.
Very tranquil in the woods but as always there are people too special to use the bins. Cars also drive at you on the way in and out but once you've bypassed these entitled beings the woods are lovely. There are toilets plus a disabled toilet and an eaterie.
C.
The park was so beautiful with several interesting walks. We stopped by the pond and took some incredible photos. We enjoyed a little picnic on the grass. I could hardly believe I was still in London.
A. A.
Beautiful Park. Lovely Park full of wildlife that you can actually hear the birds sing.
Love the cafe a beautiful place to spend time.
Is a shame that the manor is now a derelict building that is slowly crumbling away.
P. H.
Huge space, really feels like its further out of London. Car parks can get busy on hot days but still great to visit.
D. F.
Beautiful country park. Was my first time there but the fact they're building a new housing development right in the middle of it, I don't think is right.
R. O.
Lovely place for a long dog walk or a picnic. Petting zoo is also available and the Go Ape climbing area. There are also public toilets available. Parking is always difficult.
f. h.
Beautiful country park with fields and glorious woods to walk
C. L.
One of the best parks to go in North London. Maybe even London. This place gives you a feel of freedom, peace and a great place to walk. There is local farm land surrounding the park, which gives you the sense of freedom and peace. In the centre of the park is a pond where people fish and let their dogs go for a swim. It is a beautiful park that offers great walking trails and amazing nature. Very highly recommended.
R. L.
Really nice park with free parking, kids playground, cafe, ponds, nice long walk. There is an animal center too, surprisingly great, much bigger and nicer than expected comparing to the small entrance, lots of animals and a nice playground with picnic tables.
P. W.
Great for walks & picnics and lots of activities to do here too!
O. A.
A bit muddy after rain however it is a great place for a little get away from all the commotion in London!
J. S.
Beautiful and peaceful space inside the M25. Amazing wildlife and now in August loads of delicious blackberries everywhere!
E. K.
Excellent experience. Ideal for families with young children. Perfect for cycling and walks in nature. Easy access by car or public transport. If you are planning to spend some time make sure you bring water and necessities with you.
R. H.
Perfect place when you to escape from the city madness.. Easily accessible.. Picadilly line.. Oakwood or Cockfosters tube station just on door steps.. Linked to Enfield greenways
C. S. (.
Great place to enjoy nature. There's is the Japanese flower gardens, the wildlife animal centre, the fishing lakes and much more to enjoy. 😍
M. J.
Absolutely loved Trent Country Park! With its rolling landscapes that stretch out as far as our eyes could see in every direction, you can be forgiven for not realising that you're actually still within the London Borough of Enfield. Beautiful. We didn't have the pleasure of seeing any rabbits [which I really wouldn't have minded] only their droppings gave them away. So tranquil. One of the only downers was we only spotted one set of public toilets near the entrance to the carparks (there was ample parking btw). The floor was flooded and there wasn't an attendant in sight to sort it out. The other downer was spotting a couple of empty beer cans, a plastic wrapping for something or other and an empty quashed plastic bottle all left behind by one thoughtless party🙄
P. L.
Fantastic country park with loads of space to enjoy, ranging from woodland, fields and lakes. You can walk for miles through beautiful woods, and there are two cafes where you can take a rest. Plenty of parking for cars via main entrance and also Hadley Road entrance, which is generally the quieter of the two. Main entrance is about 15 mins walk from Cockfosters tube station (Piccadilly line). So, stick the wellies on the kids, coffee money in your pocket, and enjoy!
M. B.
One of the best park I ever visited. Blessed to live very nearby to Trent park and so end up every morning there.
M. P.
Went here on a very warm Sunday just recently. Parking was easy within the grounds. Lots of family groups playing and picnicking. I was thrilled to get drinks and sandwiches from one of the cafés.
Very pleasant day out from covid-19 lockdown.
B. C.
Tranquil, pleasant, well worth a visit and excellent environment
Choose your moment of pleasure in a peaceful and enticing environment.
S. K.
An absolute favourite for weekend walks in the nature! Be sure to try Go Ape and the ice cream. Cornish Vanilla is awesome! Fields are open for jumping around, picnic or snowball fight. If there was rain, snow or whatever, always use wellies or proper shoes. High heels are a no-no!
L. O.
Food, drinks, toilets, lots of parking, rolling fields, woodland, play area, lakes, flower garden, moat, monument: everything you could want from a park.
O. L.
This place is huge! It’s hard to see just how big it is but you certainly don’t feel like you are near London. Lots of places to explore and paths to follow. Plenty of parking and the cafe is good. There’s also a wildlife rescue centre that you can pay to look round. Take you wellies in winter and after rain.
S.
Discover a hidden gem in London. An amazing oasis of meadows, lakes and woodland that attracts plenty of wildlife right in the heart of London. Just a few minutes drive from the Potters Bar exit on M25. Terrific place for family and friends and plenty of walking trails for those that are fitness conscious. A cafe in the park makes it easy to get some refreshments and grab something to eat
B. I.
My favourite North London Park. A lot to do, scenery is amazing, if you need that quick nature break to recharge the batteries, I'd say Trent Park is amazing to do that and much more.
S. S.
Love it there, perfect for walking the dog with plenty of shady places to keep cool
C.
This is the best place to have a long walk. There is plenty of things to see and it feels like in the countryside
K. J.
Bit of everything in this park, which I enjoy most when it's quiet. Lovely avenues, peaceful lake and my favourite: woodland.
Always plenty of parking and I manage to get my baby's buggy all the way round the park (albeit with some mud splatters).
j. x.
Nice to go when it's a sunny day ,take a picnic, or can go for a stroll or take a bike ride ,the pets corner is good visit if you have younger kids, has a small number of animals ,pigs ,ducks ,rabbits birds and a few more ,also a small play area .
M. B.

Love this park, great place for a long walk. Iys definetly more of a countryside park.
S. R.
Great for views and walking!

51st state festival today.
BE honest...we expected alot more. it seemed alot of the music followed the same theme of house, garage, and dance. very little variety. And thr variety that was present was not to a high standard. Still had a good time but that was more the people we were with then anything else.
N. D.
A large open space with an excellent mix of forest open land a d lakes
S. D.
You can walk for hours and still find new places to explore. Real adventure. Beautiful and theres also a cafe and activities too. Make sure you put your wellies on if your going in the rainy muddy winter months so you can wonder off the path and into the woods!
G. M.
Race for life! Wife can't run but she's walking it. So proud of her. Hope she goes again next year!
R. R.
Very quiet place f u are driving through the park it's kind of adventure.
D. T.
Great park, such an important local asset. A bit too crowded with big picnics near to the main entrance area for my liking in troubled 2020, but large enough to easily get completely away from all that and hear only the breeze in the grass ......
S.
Amazing park , sadly there's a lot of rubbish !!!!
R. S.
Lovely large open space with plenty of wild woody areas and some tame ones
A.
From green open plains to rough rocky roads the park is enjoyable for everyone, whether you want to socialize or need some peace of mind the park is perfect.
Stop building houses in the park nobody asked for it.
E. E.
Very nice park but only went to attend a Ghanaian festival and it was lit
M. T.
Love the place, amazing views as always. Plenty of sun today and the water garden is something else.
N. S.
Very nice and huge park this is

We had our second visit to Brent Park today. Went in the afternoon with our 2 girls aged 2 and 5. Its a great park for kids and family day out. There are 3 playgrounds for toddlers up to teens. There is also a Zipline attraction which we we didnt have time to go on, but looked lile fun. Its a really large park and has places to order food, drinks and ice cream. Its an ideal place to go for a long run. I recommend coming when its sunny to take advantage of photo opportunities as the scenery is very nice. I can imagine it would also be amazing during winter time.
D. M.
Perfect place for hiking
V. R.
So close to the urban areas but so far as quiet and relax!
E. L.
Absolutely amazing country park!!! Great fishing spot! So peaceful and beautiful! Animal santuary is just incredible! But... Cafe is not amazing, Costco cupcakes for 2.50... so... bring your own ;)
J. O.
Lots to do for all ages from fun jogging routes to petting zoos for the family. Nice place to take photos too.
V. W. (.
Always very busy, lots of dogs off lead, fun runs held, pay to visit the animal sanctuary, Go ape tree top trampolines and water garden. A reasonably priced cafe, toilets and free parking.
R. S.
Beautiful area for a walk or a picnic. A great way to lose a few hours in nature.
J. C.
Nice park and great for picnics but toilets are poorly managed and smell. Considering the proximity to the cafe and the Covid pandemic, more should be done to improve this toilet issue.
O. Y.
It is small park with a small zoo for little kids 2-4 years old children. There is a play ground...
E. S.
One of best park of London it is huge and you can find all natural beauty here
M. R.
One of favourite parks. Has a bit of everything: woods you can get lost in, picturesque trails, open fields you can have picnics in and paved paths for easier walking. Even has a Go ape and a couple of cafes.
M. H.
I came here for a picnic. There was plenty of space and everyone was within their family bubble and maintaining distancing. The weather held up and it was fun walking around the park.
S. W.
Great park to go to. Decent size and several different areas: woodland, scrub, open areas, lakes, and a Japanese garden.
Parking is a bit tight on the Cockfosters side and traffic is slow getting to it.
There are cafes and toilets. We didn't eat but there are food stalls too.
D. D. s.
Amazing space just on the outskirts of London. Amazing place to ride bikes in addition to going on walks.
e. s.
Very lovely atmosphere
A. B.
Lovely park. Truly beautiful.
I. Y.
Very nice and big park. It has go ape, cafe, toilet inside. But getting more crowded now in weekend during pandemic. The car parks and cafe are packed. But park is big enough to keep the social distance.
T. J.
I love this park. First of all it is a big one. Even when more people are visiting, you don't feel overcrowded. Beautiful scenery. I like biking there. Possible to do long walks. Good place for your dog.
There are some water reservoirs, woods, around some agricultural fields.
There are two interesting sites to discover. Monument and medieval settlement. I don't want to spoil, so no more to say.
After your visit you may be tempted to treat yourself with delicious choice of desserts. Two different places, both excellent! With own atmosphere.
Go ape - if you like to burn calories.
I am sure I have forgotten something!
L. L.
Was there on Saturday morning for a walk with one other person. Park was rammed!!!! Social distancing ok when out in park but around the car park, cafe and loos virtually non-existent. It was a nice day weather-wise so alot of people out. When we left about 11.30ish queues to get in and out of car park, queues to get to get in and out of park onto main road. Could do with some sort of control on how people in car park, cafe and loo areas.
J.
Trent Park is great for walking, running, mountain biking, games and feeding ducks!
They have a cafe, toilets and Go Ape!
Something for everyone.
C. M.
Ahh Trent Park is lovely. I'm fairly sure we saw a red kyte and a kestrel.
The cafe is good, nice outdoor seating & kids play area with caged birds.
Loads of space to explore.
S. F.
The park has two cafes, the one near the animal sanctuary is small but always well stocked and friendly. The cafe near the main car park is much larger and serves cooked food to order, cakes and snacks, drinks and ice cream. We stumbled on the park by accident visiting the local area and looking for somewhere to picnic. What a beautiful spot under the trees to eat and free parking. There are toilets by the carpark and a cafe.
I. P. H. L.
Lovely for walks and nice cafe too.
G. Z.
Nice park with some woods and a few pubs/restaurants where you sit outside and have food/drink.
M. L.
Lovely place. When I came here I am very happy
M. G.
Nice selection of trees to climb, tons of wild areas to explore in the back towards potters bar. Tons of trash, and some new homes in the park which is a downside, but if you avoid the masses you'll be happy!
h.
What a huge park you can relax here and Goape
J.
Great country park, river, lakes, Asian garden, woods and wide open spaces. It has it all! Even a cafe to boot.
Can get busy at weekends with families and popular with dog walkers. But a great picnic spot.
S. M.
Haven't been here in decades, thoroughly enjoyed it. Sad to see the construction of 'luxury affordable' properties on what was the old Middlesex Uni site but there you go.
K. D.
Had a fresh woodland walk, passed lovely lakes, good for social distancing, lovely cafe with really nice icecream on a hot day. Also has a small wooden play area for kids. My son was bike riding all around the park. Has a go ape climing activity for older kids and adults for when everything opens an gets back to normal. Great areas for summer barbeques! Also has a small animal place, not sure what is there as not been in it yet!
E. M.
Nice big park, food, drink and toilets available. Nice trails on wood or fields. Nice fun day out, food for picnics.
C. M.
I thought I'd try somewhere new to take the dog for a walk. It was lovely. Met some other dog walkers, the majority very friendly. Plus a few non-dog walkers that wanted to say hello to my dog. Will definitely be returning when the ground dries out a bit....my dog doesn't like walking on wet surfaces 😏😂
p. m.
Semi rural parkland which, to the credit of the local council, is run very well. Provides good access to parking and a pleasant park cafe. Perfect for fitness and family fun, walking talking and cycling. There are small lakes and ponds, fun and education for kids. Physically links much of the local area and is now seeing some residential development on it's outer periphery. Well worth a visit.
N. F.
I have a great regard for Trent Park, as it is a major destination for both my social bike rides and the walking group I facilitate for my local mental health charity. There are miles of surfaced trails for both leisure cyclists and dedicated walkers, but beyond that, there is not much pleasant to describe.
I am sorry to be able to award only three points, but the closure of the college that used to occupy the old Manor of Trent House and its conversion into luxury flats makes my egalitarian blood BOIL. The caff is naff, expensive and uncongenial so is best avoided by anyone without a fat bank balance. Even these might be put off by the long wait for service. At least there is a public toilet there, and the seats are comfortable
P. W.
Trent Park, the former home of Phillip Sassoon is an exciting place to visit. It is excellent for walking and enjoying the open air in a traffic free environment.
S. Y.
A Green flag park, beautiful atmosphere and views. A small kids playground available next to the cafe
H. P.
Easily accessible by road, bus and rail (Oakwood or Cockfosters stations on the Piccadilly line). This is a favourite family destination for picnics and walking across open ground or in woodland. There is a small playground adjacent to the cafe. Plenty of parking available and the toilet block is regularly cleaned and well maintained. It is also worth seeking out the Water Garden.
The Go Ape area takes advantage of natural tree coverage. It can get very busy, so pre-book.
B. C.
Big park and gardens with lots of parking, lots of walks in open and forest areas. Cafe and kids playground on site so a good family day out. Easy to picnic throughout the park as well. When we went lost of families camping out for the day with shelters gazebos etc on the many big lawns. Lots of big lakes and they are redoing a big lawn in front of the old house for 2020. Can get busy around lunchtime so better to arrive early so you can get a car space. Also an easy walk from Cockfosters station.
J. R.
Great place to let the children burn off some energy. The animal sanctuary was lovely and even has a cafe and small playground for the kids. We didn’t eat at the main cafe in Trent Park bur it looked popular. A beautiful space which is well looked after. Definitely going back!
B. B.
Toilets are always disgusting, but the actual country park is a real joy. Miles and miles of beautiful woodland walks through hundreds of acres.
M. J.
Nice big wide open space. Decent cafe and play areas although could really do with some more things to do. There is a go ape but other than that and the few play areas it is just a big space. Not a bad thing of course but just feel it could have something more for kids. If you love nature I recommend the great wood and some lovely walks in cuffley.
C.
Nice park with a lot to do. Rolling hills or walk through the forest. Historical moat, garden, lakes, ponds (a bit dry at the moment) and memorials. The park also hosts a Go Ape, hockey club, golf course, mini golf, country club, and a few cafes. Nice place to come and relax.
E. S.
A lovely place to come to walk your dogs or just meet up with friends. Unfortunately, although the cafe is well situated in the grounds and it's spacious outside, it is very expensive, got very little change of a tenner for a panini and hot chocolate drink. Shame the staff are not very friendly or welcoming, almost like you're an inconvenience to them. The man serving me was standing in the way of the drinks board so when I enquired how much a hot chocolate was he told me it's on the board madam can you not see? If you have a family with you and ordered drinks and a sandwich, or meal each, I think you'd be in for a shock at how much it would cost. Also be prepared to bring tissues with you if you intend on using the public toilets as there is very little toilet paper available, if at all.
D. S.
Our local country park! Acres of natural land, woods and lakes and beautiful views. On hot, sunny weekends it can get overcrowded and parking is difficult. Also, service at the otherwise good cafe can be terribly slow. My main complaint is just too few bins for dog's poo bags. People are hanging them from trees because the bins are so few and far between!
F. P.
Awesome place to unwind. You can bring your own picnic and enjoy the calmness with your loved ones family and friends.irs right next to the main road but cannot hear any traffic noise. There is a cafe toilets and some ice cream if visiting in the summer months
L. B.
Beautiful place to walk your dog, let the kids run loose! There's a good play area as well, loved the animals there! Even adopted 2 owls!! The staff were really lovely. Definitely going back.
J. S.
A beautiful park with a great history. We are often over there, winter and summer, and just love to wander around the enormous grounds. Plenty of walks, where you come across the odd statue and acres and acres of land. Another area of the park are the lakes and the wonderful gardens with the pond in its centre. Another review mentions the downside of the park is people and dogs - it’s a park!!!
You can either be amongst people in the most popular areas (the lakes, the kiosk), you can walk around the garedens, or you can lose yourself in more secluded parts and just take in the wonderful atmosphere, plants, trees and wildlife (rabbits too).
Once when we were over there a number of hot air balloons passed over -now that was a sight.
Also good for photography. Beautiful wooded areas, I could just go on and on..................
A. K.
Great place! I didn't have huge expectations but was very pleased with the park and facilities available. Go Ape makes it a destination for adults and older kids, while otherwise the park is huge and you can make a day out of it. The animal rescue centre was the highlight for us, lovely and heart warming place! The park has toilets and a great restaurant, not as cheap as you would expect but good food and snacks. Parking is sufficient, too.
J. S.
Trent park is so well kept and there's loads to do. There's some fantastic walks, beautiful rivers and woods. Go ape situated in the park which is brilliant fun! Farm/wildlife centre amthere too. Really decently priced for what you get. Nice little park in there too. Two entrances provides alot of parking and a lovely cafe with toilet facilities, donut stand and another park round the back. Would recommend for dog walkers, walkers and families!
L. S.
Despite being very wet and in places difficult to get about, the views are brilliant and the paths are fairly good. Plenty to see.
K. A.
Stunning park, with hills and wooded areas. Lots of space and a nice lake/river to relax by. Great for walks, still can't believe this place is in London. Very peaceful and big so can do lots of exploring. Shame about the construction going on opposite the water front, but expect this to be complete soon. Hopefully that will also be available to the public.
M. O.
Large park with lots of open space, plenty of trees and some flowers here and there. Cafe nearest to the Oakwood Station entrance small and old fashioned but nice and reasonably priced. I had a small latte and a thin slice of coffee and walnut cake for £3.35. There are some animals there which you pay £3.00 to see but I didn't get around to visiting that part.
I. R.
I love Trent Park, been coming here for years! A few comments.... Wish they upgraded their toilets to be more pleasant. The cafe could do with being larger and more welcoming. No smoking signs need to be everywhere too so selfish smokers get the message! There are families everywhere and we don't wish to breathe in your toxic fumes!!! ,l Management & staff must enforce this! All in all a great place to visit.
N. G.
A fantastic open space. This is a great park with huge open spaces and brilliant woodland, huge trees and a huge variety of trees. At the bottom end are of the park there are lakes. At the top end ( main entrance end ) there is very good restaurant. This is a great park for all seasons, very good in winter.
Possibly best in London ! .
R. C.
Fantastic day out, loads of walking through woods, fields. The animal sanctuary worth a visit, kids love it and staff so friendly and knowledgeable, have brought 3 different groups of friends here, highly recommend. The Cafe is pretty good value too! Free parking and a short walk to Cockfosters High Street for restaurants or Sainsbury. A big favourite for playing football in the fields.
P. S.
This is a large public park with a mix of woodlands and open spaces. Easy access from Cockfosters and Hadley road car parks, and the tubes. Not spectacularly good for wheelchair access.
P. K.
Trent Park is a great place to get out into countryside. It's massive, with a variety of open and wooded spaces and water spots with a variety of wildlife.
K. D.
Trent Park has a lot to deliver however of recent the place has lost it potential losing to new developments being constructed. The place is no longer being looked after especially the Japanese Water Garden was a big letdown. However the place is good for hiking, walking trails, cycling. I wouldn’t suggest this place for a picnic.
D. M.
What an amazing place set in beautiful surroundings. Easy to get to by car or Oakwood station is near by. The Country Club is furnished to a very high standard. We had lunch with our daughter. The menu was varied but we would recommend the lamb and crab also the sesame spinach cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly. Would also recommend for a special occasion. We will definitely be going back.
I. B.
We’ve only really explored a small part of Trent Park, but it’s lovely. Lots of wide open spaces with the occasional huge tree to provide some shade in one area (ideal for picnics) whilst heavily wooded with interesting paths and ponds elsewhere. What an amazing place set in beautiful surroundings. Easy to get to by car or Oakwood station is near by.
M. Q.
Another great park in my local area. Brilliant for walks, both as leisure and as keeping oneself fit and getting exposed to fresh air/ the elements. My sister and I were here in early May to use the 'GoApe' facilities (tree-top rope adventure course) which is a great attraction housed in this park, to cater for those who seek some excitement.
l. T.
I go regularly with my son he loves it the play ground does need some work though as it's no good for over the age of five. The tree experience is nice but expensive good zip line though. We prefer the local farm down the bottom of the path it's only a few pounds to get in and have a better play Area with pigs and ducks and horses and much more. Great selection of cakes in the cafe
C. H.
Takeaway from cafe working well, hot/cold drinks, snacks, meals etc.
Toilets open. Some nice long walks.
N. K.
The one and only place for jogging in the town. Superb!
M. S.
The park is very clean with loads of great activities and places to eat and relax
S. M.
Beautiful piece of forest on the edge of London. Trees of young and old. Even if you look those that have been struck by lightening and hollowed out yet still growing..! No toilet facilities I noted however we did stumble across a few hundred people having a party! A lush sunny day in a magical woodland.

Best dog-friendly park I've ever been to. Gets boggy in winter, so wear wellies! My dog, who is quite unreliable off the lead, had a great romp around here. Very safe.
D. S.
Beautiful. But the cafe is awful. Service, food, outdoor seating knackered.
A. H.
Part of a huge area stretching miles with several entrances. Excellent if you like walking your dog or just relaxing!
Main entrance is about 1/4 from Cockfosters tube, Piccadilly Line.
After walking about 200 metres or so there is a
Supervised Adventure area on your right. ££ Payable .
If you WALK alongside it on the road there is a/was an animal rescue centre, I think recognised by Royalty? When I was there someone brought in a duck with finishing line in its mouth. For a small fee you can look at the rescued animals.
Nearby access to further walks, golf club and you can come out near Oakwood tube,
Piccadilly Line, and on the left opposite a variety of shops.
If you bear left from the Adventure place there us a free car park and disabled parking. Toilets nearby with a drinking fountain.
There is a large cafe/ restaurant with plenty of outside seating. If driving you could pass this cafe and there is secluded parking in the woods with many walks nearby.
Very popular Saturday and Sunday especially for dog owners and of course their dogs!
G. H.
During these strange times it's good to enjoy a walk or bike ride on the various woodland tracks especially as nature changes her coat from green to the many beautiful colours of autumn !
M. M.
I love this place! Plenty of low key walking on paths to avoid the mud walking! Or plenty of muddy, woody walks! Local gorse, climate and beautiful habitat, any time of year! My friend introduced me to Trent Park in 1997! There's some parking and there's also local piccadilly Cockfosters Tube a short walk to get there! There's facility for all ages! The cafe is really homely too! They embrace local habitat and all sorts of folk with or without dogs! They have outside heating facility too! There's toilets at the main entrance cafe. It pretty much remains unspoilt. Great place to explore. In late August the cricket chorus can be heard, if you're exceptionally lucky....
B. D.
A lovely country park. Plenty to offer, for young and old.
Good trails through woods and open space. A lake. Fishing permit required. Has a good Japanese garden area. Go Ape as well for both children and adults. Good café. Plenty of parking.
G. J.
Lovely park for walks but the children's playground is disappointing. The woods are wonderful but popular with irresponsible dog owners so probably worth wearing wellies
J. M.
Absolutely lovely course. Not too tough but very entertaining challenge, gets busy in the summer as it's the closest London non club course but it's well worth a visit. Highly recommend to any budding golfers in the city who want to sneak a round!
B. S.
Lovely huge park, but beware it gets very busy on sunny days and the parking is rather limited. So if you turn up after midday you'll be lucky to find a space. Also beware that there are lots of unruly untrained dogs all over the park, the owners couldn't give a damn...
P. M.
I hadn't been to Trent Park for ages until today when we went for a family walk and I had forgotten how much I love it. So many great paths to explore and fellow walkers are so friendly. We'll be back.
m. k.
Lots of green but not lot for young children to play or entertainment. One entrance to the car park is now a building site, so no entry.
L. L.
A great park for big long walks in any season. Great for dogs too. Nice cafe on site. Parking can be an issue so plan ahead.
L. N.
You wouldn't think that there would be a park so large in this area such a lovely big green space good parking lots of different walks to do & there is also a good coffee shop, even a burger bar & ice cream booth & also very popular with dog walkers
A. H.
One of the best place to have a peaceful walk
C. Z.
Trent park daffodils still not fully in bloom......
J.
If you really want a great experience visit trent park, the absolute scale of it is crazy for such a park within london, there is a Go ape located within which is really fun along with golf, and restaurants located within a short walk of the two main entrances! The park itself is really nice and well maintained amazing for dogs to play and run around in!
A. K.
Great place to take the dog out and do some adventuring within the woods aswell as a amazing place for a outdoor family picnic too! One of my favourite parks!
A. R.
Massive place with well equipped adventurous games.
👌🏻
P. P.
Huge park, great walks. Cafe has limited range and the kid's playground exists but is too tiny for such a large park.
E.
Nice place to go for long walks with your dog or bike riding through the park. Theres a large cafe there to get a nice hot drink or something to eat too.
R. F.
Lovely place to go for a walk and have a drink or snack. Food is rather pricey and not many gluten free options. But very nice to walk around and many different routes to take. Recommend for a nice day out with family or for sports.
J. T.
Great Park. Loads of open spaces. And a large go ape course with helpful staff. Good place for a walk and picnic
A. Z.
Pretty but unfortunately a little run down at the edges. There was a garbage issue when we visited today, and the place clearly needed a good clean up. Possibly to do with more traffic than usual due to the hot weather recently. Other than that there a big open fields, hills, a pretty lake and some forest parts. Went with my baby and toddler and they both had a great time.
J. B.
A wonderful country park, lovely walks. Ponds woods and lots of history, has a Go Ape high wire through the woods and a first class onsite cafe. A very popular place with walkers, dog walkers, and runners, with plenty of wild life trails.
S. M.
Wouldn't let us into the animal sanctuary when we were just 5 mins late. Kids were not pleased. Ended up walking to the park to try keep the kids happy.
D. H.
Beautiful landscape, lovely walks. Café, toilets and parking available. Take some time to visit the wildlife rescue center well worth the £3 entry. You will be helping a good corse too.
R. B.
Lovely park for the family to enjoy. Have good many years enjoyed taking the kids there too walk about in the woods etc. Food reasonable as you'd expect in these kind of places now adays. Ice ream can outside odds a top of off, but again it's what e expect now adays.
Very busy on a lovely hot day and parking is limited as the day goes on. Gotta get there early 🤪
J.
Lovely park with a large woods and small cafe. Love the Go Ape tree top adventure park as it provides as a great way to spend the day. Cafe is nice but has quite early closing times.
S. G.
Great scenery. Also very open. Good place to run and walk your dog. Social distancing also easy. Overall great place.
A. D.
Historic and beatiful park. It has everything you need - secret history, good cafe, playground for kids, go ape for big kids, open views, ponds, woods, wildlife and an avenue for bikes/scoots or roller skates.
j.
I grew up attending this park as a child, and now as a parent I find myself bringing my daughter here... mainly to use the long flat road to help her learn to skate or ride a bike! The cafe has had a nice transformation, I remember what it was like 20+ years ago, stopping in there for a hot chocolate and a cake! I’m not sure what all the building works over at the old Uni end will become, fingers crossed it’s in-keeping with the park, it’d be a shame to lose it! - Also well worth downloading the Geocaching app, there’s plenty to find in Trent Park!
J. A. F.
Great walk for dogs massive woods and fields to walk around as well as a lake if they love water will definitely make this a regular walk
l. i.
Don't wait just book and go there Because really is cheap and a lot of things to see and this place will be stay in your mind for really long time, I Highly recommend this Place because it's make you forgetting about everything else and let you enjoying your life with your friends and family ;) !!!
M. M.
Makes you feel like you're in the countryside even though it's still London. Nice for walks. There are also a couple of playgrounds for small and older kids, a go ape (for over 10) and an animal rescue centre. The cafe is nice with decent food and cakes although the service is average.
N. T.
A great place to get some fresh air and exercise. This is a wonderful and popular local amenity (the car parks can get pretty full on a sunny weekend). There are hills and lakes where you can picnic in the summertime, and flat grassy areas for playing games on. Down the centre is a long tarmacced walkway perfect for little ones with their first bikes. Lots of woodland to wander through, and it's a great place to go running.
N. C.
Huge park outside of London. Great place to get some fresh air. Sometimes gets very crowded at peak times and parking is tight, but they do their best and open up the overflow car parks.
A. v. C.
Amazing park with loads to explore. Most of the park is practically untouched, since most visitors stick to the main tree avenue.
Beyond ideal for dog walking, cycling, running and picnicking.
Be sure to catch the daffodil field in early spring. Unmissable sight!
The mansion house is currently being redeveloped, leaving a spot with an ugly building site. This will likely take many years to clear.
D. E.
Big, very varied park. Open spaces, pleasant wooded areas, views, a lake and a medieval moated farmstead. Excellent way to spend an afternoon!
G. C.
Excellent walking, lovely countryside and woodland, dog friendly, good parking facility with toilets and a café. Rather expensive coffee for a park café but nice ambience and covered area accommodates dogs. Something for most people including Go Ape.
D. W.
Lovely place for a long walk. The building site and the new build does make it a little difficult to wander around but the Japanese Garden is always worth a visit.
S.
Remote park and no parking. Disappointing. But park look well kept, there was a station nearby. Hills are steep so be ready for a good workout!
J. A.
Trent Park is a lovely country park to either..stomp round/ stroll round. Cafe is open and reasonably priced, ice creams are expensive £18 for 5.
c. l.
It was a 5* visit until enormous modern luxury housing development encroached on public park and have also stopped access via Snakes Lane which had previously been a public road.
J. C.
An amazing and large bit of countryside, not far from Cockfosters tube. Sections of forest to walk through, water garden, obelisks and nice cafes. We wanted to see the Camlet Moat which is slightly hidden in the North of the park - we asked directions from locals who told us it was stagnant and untended. But when discovered, we found it to be enchanting - a larger than expected square moat with access to a small peaceful island. According to who you believe it was originally the site of an ordinary medieval forestry administration centre, or of Camelot castle itself, complete with dungeons and a meeting point of ley lines - take your pick. I found it to be almost like a portal - quiet (apart from the nearby road), meditative and other worldly, food for the imagination. Well worth a visit.
A. S.
Beautiful nature, nice walkways it's pleasant area to make family picnic or just relax and feel good nature vibes around you
L. q. e. t. m. d.
Lovely and huge park to do many of different activities such as walking, golf, ape adventure and much more. Really wort it to visit that lovely park.
R.
Trent Park is wonderful place for a walk, and its much bigger than you initially think. The views of the countryside in the park are excellent. I must admit that I only visit the park on weekdays, where I have never seen any bad behaviour by fellow park users, but judging by the used BBQ trays and rubbish left on the floor over the weekends, I suspect weekdays are the best time to visit the park.
P. J.
HUGE park with a large car park, decent public toilets and a cafe. There is also a playground for children and a GoApe actvivity centre.
There are so many places to go like the Botanical Garden or the animal rescue centre where you can go and see all the animals they have rescued.
A great trip out.
M. T.
You're out in the country. Trent Park borders London with the countryside. Absolutely beautiful. Plenty to see, cafe and lunch if you so wish. Cockfosters Tube Station 6 minutes away. Lucky to live here.
S. B.
Great park, but the toilets are disgusting! Unfortunately they don't look like they are cleaned throughout the day.
J. S.
Large park with many paths and trails with some cafes and car parks as well.
R. B.
One of the best parks around in the outer London
area. With two nice cafes, and Go ape in the park
P. L.
A truly great area for a long walk with your dog, children or by yourself. Plenty of paths to take and loss yourself on. Kept very clean and litter free, which is always nice to see.
D. R.
Had a lovely day out of the city walking round the country park with my wife. The park is really easy to get to from the Piccadilly tube line. I haven't been out of the city for a long time and we both were reminded how long it had been since we didn't have traffic and noise around us by the lack of both.
S. L.
Big park with plenty of parking and actual wooded areas and grass lands. Also a big lake is present in the middle.
T. C.
Good place for walk and picnic. Loads of parking. Toilets were a bit horrible.
U. P.
Great place for long walks. Really love the forest there, it's not just a park with grass. Right next to Cockfosters tube station on Piccadilly line. Plan 3-4 hours for a walk
A. U.
Very larges park, good for walking, cycling with kids. There are some paths in the woods for walking. There is cafe, busy most of the times. As well as go ape, there are some frames made from ropes, kids loved playing on it.
W. P.
Plenty of free parking. Huge area for walks and play. Clean toilets. 2 cafe areas. A pleasant family outing.
R. L.
Lovely park. Parking an issue on weekends. Cafeteria not so great. Huge queues, not helped by no till and ice cream bar. Advice you walk to smaller cafe by animal sanctuary
S. S.
Visited for 51st state festival. Big open space, 4 tents plus main stage, plenty of toilets, massive ques for drinks and Jamaican food. Very thorough searches. Haven't been here when the festival isn't on though, but it's a big park, similar to hampstead heath.
B. P.
It's a beautiful park that's a nice place to walk around, take your family and your dog for a walk, best time to walk around it is in the summer though. Good amount of parking.
I. H.
What a lovely place. I have walked my dog here a lot over the years. Just very sad to see they are building housing by one of the lakes but its all to do with money just hope it doesn't spoil this lovely oasis in the outskirts of london
J. W.
Amazing park with a lot of variety to walk through, although the ongoing construction is hindering the peaceful character the park had.
H. P.
Little known gem of a country park served by Oakwood and Cockfosters tube stations. The woods and meadows of this historic park offer insights into the landscape upon which this part of London is built. Two cafes, three vehicle entrances with parking. Beautiful countryside to roam in.
h. l.
The park itself is lovely, but the cafe is a 5/10 and the toilets 1/10 inches deep in water
R. A.
We used the football facilities which are great. Good parking, nice pitches, plenty of them and the pub/cafe make it a good place to sit around whilst waiting for your kids and friends.
M. R.
Lovely place for weekend picnics, walks and meditation. Family friendly and good for dating too. Tranquillity is all over, adrenaline is up the trees if you decide to give a go of the 'Go Ape' apparatus. Unforgettable experiences all together!
D. W.
Trent park has some lovely walks and is especially beautiful when the riot of daffodils are in full bloom. The housing development is currently well underway at Spring 2019 but the "Go ape" ropeway centre and café are open and busy.
L. B.
The car park was busy, but once you are away from that area its easy to find some peaceful spaces for the kids to play in the woods.
S. M.
Beautiful huge place, lovely water garden
N. A.
This park is massive. I've had countless outings here with friends ranging from not doing the work we came to do, to having a picnic to let's go and get lost for hours
And there are just so many different places to go in the park, it makes it an ideal running location
Or great for a romantic date ;)
But running here is just brilliant, the scenery is lovely, the atmosphere can be quiet in parts and lively in others and there's room for miles!
F. P.
Trent park is part of the London Green Belt. On the outskirt of the busy metropolis it offers a natural ,rural atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all nature lovers or those who just want a peaceful walk surrounded by meadows, forest, and enchanting ponds any time of the year. It is popular with walkers, joggers,, cyclists and horse riders. For intrepid visitors there is "Go Ape" adventure high on the woodland canopy. Zip wires and rope bridges will offer great views and quite few hours of energetic fun.
You can bring sandwiches for a quick snack or visit the cafe' if you feel a little thirsty or peckish.
However you decide to enjoy the park, please be respectful of the wild flora and fauna and bring your wellies.
P. C.
Wonderful park for a family day out. Feels like country side, forest, woods, mountain, play ground, pond, Go Ape - adventure chained activity, a huge park.
I felt like close to nature, amazing.
P. H.
Very brief visit due to other commitment, however, free parking was unexpected and very much appreciated, took a short stroll into the wooded area, loved hearing the bird song. Past by the cafe, which appeared to be doing good business. Have already planned to return on my next visit to the UK to explore more, took a photo of the information board regarding the Enfield Loop to assist.
Z. Y.
Lovely open spaces and views, free parking, lots of facilities catering for families, and Go-Ape is a nice bonus. Loses a star as parking is limited (park can get very busy, as to be expected), entry / exit can be a bottleneck causing traffic build up, and toilets aren't the nicest.
G. H.
It was my first experience outdoors and I have to say it was amazing
T. C.
Historic location mainly relating to WW2. Landscape is being sympathically restored to its original, including planting of thousands of additional daffodils, wetland and trees.A charity has been established to pursue funding for a musuem in the grade 1
Mansion. A wildlife and Rescue centre with café is well worth a visit, especially for families, as is the Japanese water garden. A good area with extensive woodland for nature lovers and walkers. A green flag has been awarded to the park for many years now. Easy access by tube via the Piccadilly
Line from Cockfosters Station, plus free car parking
J. W.
Beautiful old hunting woods, opens grassland and an oakwood. Easy to get to via Oakwood or Cockfosters in the Piccadilly line and there are miles of paths to explore.
H. Z.
Vast amounts of open space to walk, cycle and relax in. It has a variety of open fields and woodland, and has a nice little cafe (although it can be expensive). There's also a farm which is nice to go to with kids if you're on an outing. You forget you're in London in here - it's a must!
D. C.
Had a very nice time. Weather was good. Went to see the wild animal sanctuary. Had tea and cake in the garden.
C. A.
A really beautiful place to go and take a leisurely stroll through the woods, down the paths, near the pond and then sit down at the cafe to have a nice warm cup of coffee.
L. A. L.
Really lovely park, nice walks. Lots of space, good for dog owners.
K. T.
Beautiful open park and walkways. Very busy today because of the dry sunny weather.
J. B.
Love this park, only 5 mins away from where I live...early morning or afternoon any season; it's a wonderful place to walk the dogs...got an animal centre and lots of space to explore.
P. M.
I come to Trent park when volunteering with Enfield Conservation Volunteers and its always a pleasant and relaxing time. Getting back to nature regularly is a must when stuck in an office all week. Today we are clearing more rhododendron to allow native species to flourish.
C. S.
Decent café and range of food.
Minor gripe wasps were overwhelming as there were actually TOO many bins!
E. K.
Trent park is lovely, the only problem is the people(low life) who go there drop their rubbish everywhere, I guess that's just what people do these days. I mean I couldn't possibly expect people to put their litter in a bin, or god forbid, take their rubbish home with them, that would be unreasonable. And also there's fly tipping, there's several old kitchens and bags full of building waste in various places. Other than that it's a lovely park, where people come to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and leave their rubbish behind when they leave.
i. t.
Lovely place to spend the day, scenery is constantly changing woods, open fields and a lake the cafe is kind of continental dining alfresco, go to the park you won't be disappointed.
j. b.
A large country park set over gentle slopes with rolling hay-meadows, woodlands, kissing gates, trickling brooks, an ancient archaeological site and fragments of the original landscaping still discernible.
Numerous amenities here but currently somewhat disheveled, possibly until the remodelling of the now privatised historical Trent House complex is completed.
This is an exceptional destination for nature lovers, amblers, cyclists, highly recommended and deserving of more publicity.
Toilets however are.......challenging.
D. L.
I love visiting Trent Park. It is the perfect place to go on walks with my family. Trent Park proves that nature is beautiful and is worth seeing. I would highly recommend visiting here. It's not far from Oakwood Station, which runs on the Picadilly line.
C. H.
Hadn't had such good food for a while. Big portions of quality, well seasoned food for a very reasonable price. The place is neat and cosy with good service.Fabulous food. This place has great atmosphere. Amazing food always made to perfection, ambience was good too as always! Staff so helpful always willing to help.
T.
Fantastic place!
N. F.
The area i go in at trent park is usually very quiet and peaceful (apart from go ape when it's open). I call it the quiet side..the side with no cafe and a lot less people!
A. F.
Plenty of good walks but the sea of daffodils is not worth going to see whilst surrounded by building works. Hopefully next year normal business will be resumed
K. M.
Trent Park is always stunning, whatever the weather. There are many features to enjoy: wooded areas, pathways, fields, lakes and hills in parts. I love the children's adventure playground and the wood carving man too.
S. G.
Wonderful place, lots of people woking dogs, very seif plays for kids, where have little coffee shop, parking.👍☕🍰
w. w.
Former royal hunting grounds. Should be description enough. Very nice area. Sadly at the moment there is some construction works going on around main building of the park.
A. C.
Very nice. Lots of people but park is large enough for social distancing
E. B.
Fantastic country park, lots of places to walk and 2 cafes offering food and drink.
F. H.
Another great piece of greenery and a nice walking trail. Great for a day out and nice views especially the obelisk which makes for some great photos.
J. G.
Very large park so although the car park is busy, you can go deeper into the park and away from most people. Great place.
L. B.
Visit the Wildlife Rescue Centre , the staff do a wonderful job for injured wildlife and rely totally on donations, obviously no dogs allowed in centre but play area for children and a cafe
C. B.
Good paths with plenty of room to loose the crowds. Nice cafe but very busy on weekends. Animal centre do a good job and well worth a visit.
R. V. J.
Its massive and has lots to do, better signage would help me navigate it as it's easy to get lost, thoroughly reccomend visiting though
R.
Best park for walking your pooch in London. Full. Stop.
G. A.
My family and I have been going there for years, growing up just up the road from there.
The place has left us with many fond memories of nice family outings and dog walking, even our dog absolutely LOVES it there!
Unfortunately there is one little problem that's been going for a while now and it's the staff at the cafe. Every time we go there for lunch, they keep getting the order wrong, even if we try to explain it as clearly as possible. It's a shame because I feel that it's letting the cafe down. They should consider getting better staff.
Other then that, great place to be and I would recommend it to everyone.
J. B.
Beautiful open countryside. Lovely walking, especially round the lake. On the edge of London but all you can see are fields. There are also a couple of cafes and an animal hospital you can visit.
J. G.
Lovely park to walk around, it's a shame about the litter left by people.
T. W.
I visited often when I was younger and hadn't been in years, Then I had a yearning to go. It is as lovely as I remember. From tree lined trails, to woodland to open rolling hills. It is a lush Home Counties rustic setting within the M25. There is much to explore and discover. Also, if you are a fan of Doctor Who you can visit the filming sites of Mawdrn Undead. From the Brigadier's cottage, to The Obelisk, to the old Middlesex University site which double for the public school. Or just enjoy strolling through the verdant loveliness
i. m.
Plenty of very attentive staff, good range of beers and lagers and many fine gins. The food was plentiful and high quality. I highly recommend the antipasti sharing platter.
B. P.
Beautiful country park. Lovely nature walks. Cafeteria. Plenty of parking. Zip wire amongst trees. Public conveniences.
Z. M.
Lovely local park. Big with a nice mix of wooded, field walking. Small cafe as well.
C. L.
Nice , spacious park with ample parking. Very nice place to clear your head and the scenery is picturesque.
R. B.
Southgate Hockey club all weather facilities play host to my son's rugby club training, the Old Grammarians. With a very nice set up this place has plenty of parking and a lovely well presented club house/bar area with a balcony overlooking the pitches. The staff are friendly & welcoming and the all round other facilities are very clean and well kept. Availability for functions is a plus.
M. M.
Cafe still serving during lockdown with outdoor seating. Great for long walks.
S. K.
Beautiful big park, very good for a long walk, has great activities to offer. Few older children playground equipment's are broken but it's still an amazing green place.
s. r.
Beautiful park. Lots of pleasant secluded walks. Great for dog walking. Loads of parking and never too busy. Plus nice cafe.
C. L. B.
Very nice for a weekend walk. And food is very nice.
M. G.
A good place to walk with plenty of paths. Parking can be tricky. big.
I. D.
Some great, if short, mountain bike trails, and the cafe is well worthy a visit for some homemade cakes and to sit in the garden there. There's also a smaller cafe with an animal hospital for the kids to visit.
E. C.

Big open space filled with nature's beauty. Great for families and dog lovers.
T. R.
Lovely Large open city spaces... Has cafes and cleaned facilities I.e. toilets... Holds good community events and festivals my personal favourite is #MOAF Mauritius Open Air Festival which was held first time here...
Close to Cockfosters underground station, large car park and beautiful scenery and trees...
J. C.
Very large park that feels like you're in the country, far from any city.
T. K.
Very worth and our children had great fun, we will go again next week. Well organised, neatly maintained.
K. T.
Trent Park is a nice park to walk round with lots of nice views and in the spring there is a show of daffodils. The cafe is a good place to go after a long walk
C. C.
Lovely park with some nice green spaces and not too busy, lost a star due to the building work going on
K. M.
Love it
K. S.
There is a great outdoor activity at Goape treetop challenge, close to Cocfosters Underground Station, in the middle of the wood. Great for families, colleagues, friends, exciting fun for everyone.
j. 1.
This Park is Great. Its amazing for Mountain Biking and is overall a very beautiful place! I love coming here at weekends but the parking can sometimes be a pain. But overall its worth a visit
I. P.
Very nice place
P. A. m.
Trent park is beautiful all year round good cafeteria a little expensive..my only gripe would be to many paid Dog walkers with too many dogs to look after.
J. M.
I spend a lot of time walking in Trent Park; I've probably been here at least once a week for the last 20 years and I'm still not fed up with it. There always seems to be some new corner or undiscovered path to explore.
K. F.
Fantastic green space with something for everyone. Free car parking.. though sadly the public toilets remain padlocked due to Covid!
S. T.
This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. With free entry and parking and a homely cafe, bring friends and family for a great outdoor picnic.
Z. C. (.
Lots of parking and recreational space for people to maintain social distancing responsibility.
R. R.
One of the best parks... But the cafe was costly.. But with the virus everything is high
S. C.
Lovely park, we go there on a regular basis & we love it!
Highly recommend this park and the beautiful scenery, it’s also a great place to take photos!
S. P.
Beautiful park and still possible to have a quiet walk. However the overflowing bins spoil the vista and will attract vermin.
j. w.
Lovely country park with a cafe on site and lots to do. Plenty of parking on site
T. B.
Great place for a dog walk. The cafe was a let-down though; from its appearance we expected some fairly decent scran, so I went risky with a Spanish omelette. Cheap ingredients, off-putting flavours and poorly presented, with two unnecessary massive pots of dirt cheap hummus and coleslaw - why bother with those? - and a huge side of shredded lettuce. The kind of plate of food that always makes me wonder to who it could appeal. Others have noted the poor service here, but the worst thing I could say about that from my experience is that it was unenthusiastic.
But the park itself really is lovely.
S. S.
Massive park with loads to do. Has GO APE and ample space to run, cycle and more. Parking is provided too
A.
great park. very big with wood lands and pond areas. has carparks you can always find a space.
C. G.
Large well kept park free parking. A great selection of trees and wildlife. Camping also secluded areas
d. b.
It's a great place to explore with friends & families dog walking
It's even better when the sun is out
S. D.
Lots of space to walk and enjoy nature. Car park gets busy quickly on nice days
J. L.
Trent Park is a huge and wonderful blend of woodland, grassland and lakes. A nice oriental garden, a cafe, adventure playground, tots playground, a charming animal sanctuary and lots of places to explore!
B. R.
Been coming here for over 40 years i love this place very peaceful and quiet lovely to walk around and admire the scenery there are toilets and cafe to eat and drink plenty its a great place to bring kids
F. C.
Beautiful place!!
L. L.
Quite an big open space; reached from Cockfosters, Oakwood or even Enfield Chase. It has open space, woods and concreted road walkways. There are cafes within the Park, too. These sit toward the Cockfosters side more.
S. D.

Visited for the 51st state festival for the third year and once again was not disappointed. Trent park is a great open space. A little walk from the station but worth it
P. D.
Lovely park, unfortunately only had an opportunity to visit for a couple of hours in the evening but from the little I saw it is a great place to visit for a nice walk. I would definitely go back and visit again in to see some more of it.

The best part of North London
A royal majestic mystical lush green airy space for either romance, fitness or a casual leisure time. Truly a place not to be ignored.

Possibly the best council owned course I've ever played. Played from the white tees this is a difficult test. Only downsides are that in the winter it doesn't cope well and is VERY muddy, and in the summer a round of golf can take 6 HOURS!
A. K.
It was lovely to walk there ,but inconsiderate people had left their rubbish behind,
M. Q.
Trent park is a beautiful bit of English countryside in North London. Sadly the old buildings in the rear of the park are being worked on this year, but otherwise Trent is a quiet, expansive stretch of fields, ponds, gardens and farm land.
S. H.
Really nice park, great for dog walkers
J. H.
You don't quite escape the noise of London, as a busy-ish road runs along side it, but it's good woodland nonetheless. I enjoyed cycling around it.
C. K.
Peaceful, not busy in the mornings, after a long walk around the woodland area you can sit at the cafe and enjoy a latte in peace
