Tenancy expiring in up coming Covid 19 - tenants want to stay but paperwork needs activation. I was with another Letting Agent, but a chance call in, prior to "lockdown", to the Leonard Leese office and meeting Toby Bailey was very fortuitous. Toby was able, during this no movement period, to renew the Tenancy and get all the paperwork signed off \ Deposits in place etc without anyone meeting. Very professional - very easy to work with - great advice on all matters of the property - couldn't recommend both him and Leonard Leese higher.

As a landlord who rents out a flat, I have found Leonard Leese very good. Both in terms of reliably finding tenants / securing good rental values, and also in terms of dealing with both minor and more major maintenance and improvement works. My one reservation is that I spoke to my last set of tenants and they were less complementary on the company's responsiveness to maintenance issues they had raised. The company do, however, assure me these issues have now been addressed.

In my experience, this is a great letting agency. I dealt personally with Niall on a daily basis for several weeks while my partner and I considered a property in the Vauxhall area. Niall was helpful and cheerful every time we spoke, getting to know me personally as well as answering all my questions about the property. Even though we didn't make an offer on the property (my partner and I decided to wait until the Spring for travel reasons) I would definitely say that my experience with this letting agency was better than others. The agent was on time for the viewing, the photos I was given represented the property well, the agency fees quoted to me were very reasonable, and I wasn't bombarded with a million emails every time a flat went up within 100 km. They also did NOT try to convince me to rent a flat outside of my price range, which I noticed other agencies doing constantly! Overall I was very pleased, and if possible my partner and I would like to rent from them in the future.

I was dealing with Nathan and he did his job really well - all was prepared on schedule and he managed to get the contract despite some minor difficulties on time... and all of it was true till the payment day. Initially, I was asked to fill up the form that require me to provide card details (card number, expiry date, my address and CVV security code) so the payment can be deducted by the agency on time. I obviously rejected that as I find it highly insecure way of paying for a service and suggested paying with a bank transfer. That was ok but I got a phone call from the agent that lectured me that I should have paid by card over the phone as because of the transfer he will need to check the payment manually to confirm... I get that but after seeing they form requesting all card details I thought it's better to pay with the transfer. Moreover, after moving in not all of the works agreed had been carried out so repainting took place a few days after I moved in. To summarize, I would say that the service was good initially but since the payment was made, the quality of the it dropped (why bother if customer already paid). edit: After posting the review above, I was contacted by a person from Customer Support that apologized for the inconvenience caused and we finally reached an agreement - as a result part of the agency fee was refunded and that's why I'm changing rating from 3 to 4.
