It is important to call-out that they went out of their way to accommodate my personal situation which meant delaying the move-in to the new place, extending the stay in the existing flat so that I don't end up paying for 2 places. This review is not only for the services but also for being considerate towards my situation. They made me believe that flat is the last thing I should be worried about..Both were responsive on emails and calls and did their best to accommodate me in their busy schedule. Thanks team (esp. I’ve recently re-rented my flat through Lord from Life Residential who has been amazing. Lord is not only professional, full of energy and enthusiasm for what he does but also always really happy and therefore a pleasure to deal with - I was very confident in him representing the rental of my property! The minute I spoke to Benjamin dayo I knew this was the person that was going to help me find the right home. I'd spent alot of time looking for a place and dealt with so many agents who either didn't seem to be clued up on all the details for a home or where just telling me things I wanted to hear. I found Benjamin to be straight up and let me know how it was, I was able to secure the perfect place within a day thanks to him. The following processes where simple in regards to registering for credit checks, references etc. All in all working with Benjamin and life residential turned a very stressful experience into a very easy and enjoyable one. I truly do recommend them.

Looking for a flat in London, especially when you are not a local, can be very difficult. But Daemon and Benjamin were here from the beginning for my partner and I, giving all the informations needed but also very supportive! And trust me, I've dealt with agencies which whom you know they just want to sell the product. Daemon was very reactive and effective, even when my budget appeared to be too low for the property I asked for, he found one meeting all my criteria right away, as quickly as needed. From start to finish everyone we dealt with at the Deptford office (mostly Benjamin and Daemon) were very friendly however, we felt like there was a lack of communication and acknowledgement of emails from staff. I had to follow up most e-mail I sent and only then heard back. We would've expected to at least get a email stating that they are looking into our query and will keep us posted which was not done. This made the process frustrating at times and the overall process was quite lengthy from start to finish. We appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the team however, there definitely is a lack of communication skills.

If you are moving from another country to live in London, the process of renting a flat can be very daunting. You will need an address to get a bank account, but you need a bank account to get an address. You can try to wrap your head around this paradox, or you can just trust the good people at Life Residential. Clifford and his team walked us through every stage of the process. The landlord did not sign the contract as quickly as we had hoped. This made the logistics of de-registering from another country, arranging flights, immigration, finances, and arranging movers very stressful. Clifford and his team were in contact with us almost daily to keep us apprised of the situation. They were neither an advocate for the landlord or for us, but rather a mediator that ensured the best for both sides of the rental agreement. Well worth the cost. Eventually, everything worked out and it was a very happy ending!

I have a flat in Lewishan that has been managed by Life Residential for the last 5- 6 years. They have always given me excellent service, be it with tenant renewal or maintenance. Different service managers have helped me over the years. I am most impressed by Ms Szilvia Nemeth who has been helping me recently to keep my flat in good condition. I just had a changed of tenants and the new tenants have wanted certain things fixed. On her own initiative, Ms Nemeth has sourced different quotations and made sensible recommendations. Not everything need to be thrown out! Only some things need be fixed. Other items like oven filter she will help me source for me independently. I am most impressed by her.

I currently live in a property managed by Andreia Mariano at Life Residential (coming up to 1 year at the property). I can rely on Andreia for everything. If anything needs doing in the flat she sorts it straight away with no problems. I recently lost my keys and she arranged for the locks to be changed within a couple of hours. I managed to jam one of the windows open by accident and she had it sorted the same day whilst I was at work and even had a tutorial video sent to me via whatsapp on how to properly use the multi-way windows. Having rented 3 different places over the last 6 years, I can say this is the most effortless experience I have had. Renting in London can be a nightmare and feeling like appliance issues that have a huge impact on your day to day living are at the bottom of someone's to-do list is so frustrating. I contacted the agency about a flat and Mr. Colm got in contact with me. I told him that I wanted a flat that accepts pets and was informed that the agency has an agreement with landlords to not accept pets. Although I find this a weird policy for 2018, Mr. Colm spontaneously emailed me a link to help finding a flat that accepts pets. To be honest, I don't know how this agency handles rental contracts, prices, etc... but I got a really good impression by this simple altruistic attitude. I can just recommend a place, or better an agent like this and hope you make a good deal...

As a Landlord and having spent a number of years struggling to use online property management companies who basically were impossible to contact and basically collected the rent and little else, it was a real pleasure to deal with a company who actually wanted to talk to me. We have had Marianne look after us throughout our tenancy. Any issues that we have had, which were minor, were sorted quickly. We had a problem with the light fittings, I contacted Marianne and it was sorted immediately even though it was over the Christmas holidays. This is my review as prospective tenant. I cannot comment on other stages in the process. The lettings team in Deptford were either understaffed or I was unlucky with the timing. This year and last year it took a bit of waiting to get hold of a letting agent on LiFE Deptford Bridge. All communications with your staff even the sales team who helped picked up the phone were professional and pleasant. Once through, Colm was efficient at arranging a viewing. Met Clifford for the actual viewing who arrived a bit early. Clifford was professional and didn't pressure so I was able to assess the flat objectively. This would benefit both the tenant as well as landlords will appreciate tenants who are allowed to decide wisely and better chance of a longer tenancy. Colm followed up with a couple of quite accurate suggestions for what I was looking and updated when a more suitable property is about to be advertised. This is excellent bespoke service by Colm which I haven't experienced with other agents in LiFE Deptford Bridge or anywhere in the world. Unfortunately I didn't take up the property. Although it didn't affect me, I thought the admin fees are on the high side especially in proportion to the rent. Needs looking into whether justified by the service during renting or on moving out, or your fee split between tenants and landlord is very different to other agents. I appreciate that costs are high operating in Central London but please stay competitive. Rents/commissions are higher in this area as compensation. This is my personal opinion as a renter. I will consider approaching your agency again if you have more Colms and Cliffords.
