I contacted them and the letting agent I dealt with was amazing! I was constrained by time and needed to find a property with urgency. We made a viewing appointment with an agent named Tanya. We were in front of the building at the exact time, 12:00. Nobody showed up. At 12:15, I called the agent. She said she left the building at 12:00 as she didn't see me there and she can't come back. She didn't bother to call us at 12:00, she didn't bother to compensate, she didn't even try to reschedule another appointment. She said she may have other appointments so she can't arrange another time. What an unprofessional and impolite attitude. If you make an appointment with this agent, you should accept the risk of nobody showing up at the appointment. Edit: Both the agent and the manager apologized for the inconvenience. The manager spent effort to understand the situation and compensate. They also offered compensation for travel expenses.

Having heard many horror stories about estate agents and having met many of them who were taking me to properties that were outside my budget, I went to meet them with a lot of apprehension. However, as a first time buyer, I could not have asked for a better experience than this. From the first time I met Josephine, she listened to me and while negotiating on the offer, she didn’t push me to make decisions I didn’t want to. She was just awesome. Being impatient meant that I was messaging them on a regular basis, and they always replied to me straight away. When I needed to go see the property again and again, they would arrange it immediately. Except for the council taking longer than expected, the whole process was very smooth. I've been a tenant in a property managed by London Residential for 2 years now and as I'm moving out now to go to the south, I know I will miss the great service I've received, especially in the last months since Emmanuel Dodd has come on board. I've often emailed the agency about an issue around midnight just to get both a reply and a solution from Emmanuel the very next morning. Any issues that required a plumber, electrician, or handyman have been solved as quickly as possible as the agency always sent their team of engineers (lovely people too) within a few hours. To give a concrete example of the efficiency, I got locked into my bedroom one evening around 8:30 because the door latch got stuck. I called the emergency line of the agency and my call was picked up immediately, and I was told that because it was out of hours and the engineers were off I would have to call a locksmith myself and submit the receipt for a refund. I was a bit hesitant as the locksmith visit cost almost £90 but had no other option. I sent the receipt by email that same night expecting to have to go into a long process to get the refund, but I received it within 2 hours after my email was read by Emmanuel! I know I will miss such a great service that as a tenant makes me feel supported and cared for. Keep up the good work Emmanuel and team, if/when I come back to the north I know I will definitely be renting with you again!

It has been a rather stressful time for me; a combination of external factors conspiring against me and causing me great anxiety. However, I cannot stress enough the manner in which Camille has helped me deal with an array of issues. I never thought I would write a good review about an estate agent. But I really have to. I had been looking for a property for a while and dealing with manipulative agents was frustrating. From the very start Josephine and Liana were very responsive to my requirements and successfully helped me negotiate a good price for my ‘perfect’ property. There were a few hurdles over legal matters but they were always there to help with negotiating with the vendor, their solicitor and my solicitor to make sure all parties were happy. I honestly felt that they wanted to help and were approachable at every stage. I needed a quick sale and we managed to complete within 8 weeks. I would definitely recommend them and they will be the first agent I approach in the future should I need anything.

Since then, I have been in quite a difficult situation with the landlord. However, after a while they assigned me a new property manager, James. Wow wow wow my faith in estate agents is restored! I bought my first house through London Residential, and was interacting with Liana and Ina. It's hard to find the words to describe how brilliant they both are. They put me at ease very early in the process and it felt like I was dealing with old friends. Even after the offer was accepted Liana and Ina stayed in very close contact to ensure everything went smoothly. They helped me find an excellent local builder who could take care of some of the work I needed doing. They came back to all of my emails within minutes or hours never more than a day. Some of the issues were probably not entirely within their control. But for these, we believe the service would have qualified for an excellent rating.

We had an excellent experience with London Residential (LR). My boyfriend and I were looking to relocate from France/Switzerland to London, and I contacted LR regarding an add. Soon after, I received a phone call from one of their agent, on my mobile, in france, and she gave me really good advice on what documents to prepare, told me to get some references from friends in the UK, possibly bank account statements, etc.. all of these things were totally new to us, and so we could ask our respective employers to write a letter etc. We could book viewings before arriving, and on the day we arrived, she had several appartments within our budget that we could visit, and some that exceeded the budget slightly (but telling us we could always negotiate with the landlord). The same day we found our appartment, put down a holding deposit, and made arrangements to transfer money from oversees while she contacted the landlord. Thanks to her phone call, we had all the documents ready to give to the landlord. She came back to us rapidly to let us know how things were going and kept us up to date. Within a few days we could sign the contract (and get a lower price than advertised) and get the keys to our apartment. If I should summarize in bullet-points: - excellent communication at all stages - excellent preparation beforehand (documents et al) and for the viewings - excellent advice on the properties and dealing with landlords - excellent preparation for the viewings - apartments viewed fitted our wishes and budget - efficacy for the paperwork - very friendly, fun and open letting agent I would recommend - thanx to them we found our apartment within 48h of our arrival in London - contract was signed 5 days after we arrived (there was a WE in between).

His thoughtfulness extended to him going beyond his call of duty to find out from various banks the process and lead time to open up a student bank account so that we could settle our own admin issues in time to secure the rental.
