Never underestimate the power of communication. If it wasn’t for Maddie the sale would have fallen apart as communication from the buyers and their Solicitor was Zero. Maddie was simply brilliant! When my husband and I first met her, we were in a total state of shock and dismay as the landlord of the house we were supposed to move in initially, decided to pull out the day before, and the agency (KFH Putney) managed the situation extremely poorly, offering us no alternative. Maddie then appeared like an angel and replied to a desperate post my friend sent on a local community facebook group, in attempt to rescue us. Maddie did just that, and the house she had to offer was MUCH nicer, so the unfortunate incident turned out to be a huge blessing in disguise! We were offered a commission of 0.5% (inc VAT!) as part of their ‘concierge’ package . I think it’s because there are only two of them and they don’t employ anyone, they have no shop front and their website doesn't get the traffic of the big agents so they won’t have the database of buyers KfH/Foxtons will have. So if you want a low commission they are worth considering on a no sale no fee basis. We went with a more established agent with a high street presence.
