I have bought and sold several properties through Martyn Gerrard who most people view as the number one estate agents in North London. Most recently I sold a house through their North Finchley Branch. Despite Covid restrictions they were able to entice a very large number of viewings and manage this with great consideration to my tenants. At an initially high-price that I sort there were no serious offers, we had an adult conversation about the finish of my property and dropped the price accordingly at which point it was snapped up immediately. Again despite Covid and the buyer being in a chain they were able to see this transaction through to completion. Communications were excellent throughout and I will continue to use Martyn Gerrard wherever possible.

It takes a certain skill (or naivete on my part) to be impressed by an estate agent when they are informing you of being gazumped. I've never felt so gutted when I heard but Jess and Craig made it clear what the situation was and where they stood. Sympathetic while also honest and direct. I purchased a house marketed by Martyn Gerrard's North Finchley branch and although I was not their client I have to say I was impressed by their professionalism and endeavour to conclude the transaction positively for all parties concerned. This on fact was the second home I had purchased from them and like anyone who has been through the process knows,it never runs I as smoothly as you would like. The first purchase there were issue with building regulations compliance and without their assistance in resolving these matters I don't think we would have completed the transaction. The second, involved obtaining outline planning permission and MG were great in managing the buyers and sellers expectations. A house purchase is possibly the most stressful transaction anyone will undertake in their lives and having a knowledgeable devoted and assertive agent mediating makes life so much easer for everyone. Re: Kyri Ayed I first met Kyri over 4 years ago when he sold a property for me at North Finchley. Without him, the chain would have collapsed. There were 6 people in the chain (6 households) - 6 people selling and buying simultaneously. He worked tirelessly to ensure the chain remained in place and I personally cannot thank him enough.
