Honestly, for both rental management and sales they were really everything I could hope for. Whenever there was a problem with tenants, Clare sorted it really fast, and I never felt overcharged when they arranged repairs and servicings on our behalf.
Then when it came to the sale, Jay offered good advice throughout, helping us negotiate a better deal at the start and then resolving some last minute issues to get everything over the line.

J. V.I approached Oakwood after a month of attempting to sell my studio flat (N16) through Location Location. Until that point there had been limited buyer interest and communication with the team at LL was very inconsistent.
Within days of Oakwood marketing my property I had lots of interest and Daniel really took the time to explain all the options available and guide me through the process. He and the rest of the team were always responsive to calls and emails and invariably pleasant to deal with.
Oakwood's approach to marketing may be more traditional but they showed a much better understanding of the local market, at least for a small flat like mine. They also charged less commission than their competitors down the road. Highly recommended.
J. B.We'd been trying to sell our flat for some time and hadn't had much success with another local estate agent, so we put it on with Oakwood. We struggled still to get viewings/offers on the flat (a largeish one bed in the middle of Stoke Newington) and Jay suggested we cut the price further. We then found a buyer and agreed a sale. Fast forward 3-4 months and unfortunately we then lost our buyer because they lost their buyer (ie chain issues....). Jay and Daniel put the flat back on the market quickly and we immediately had two offers, one of which was a cash buyer who we went with in the end. Both Jay and Daniel were very helpful and responsive in steering us through some extremely nervous moments. Ideally everything would have taken far less time than it did - and we felt in the early days there were perhaps more that could have been done to promote the flat - but we got there in the end and because of the speed of the eventual sale managed to hold onto our own onward purchase.

No one knows Stokey (and the surrounding areas) better than them. They a thorough, professional, competitively priced given the level of service they provide, but most importantly they are proactive. I had a pretty smooth sale but the small bumps I did experience were dealt with quickly and I had no doubt that they were working hard to ensure both I and the prospective buyer’s interests were served. A special shout out to Jay who’s a total professional and really knows his stuff.

P. W.I have just sold my 2 bed flat (Allen Road N16) through Oakwood Estate Agents in Church Street N16. I bought the flat through them about 7 years ago and found Oakwood really good to deal with so I decided to sell through them this time.
The team at Church Street were really great to deal with and in particular sales directorJay Niyazi. I have popped in virtually every few months over the last few years trying to decide whether to sell or not and Jay has always been patient and willing to chat about the market and what's going on.
I finally decided to sell asap after Covid lockdown was eased a few months ago Jay and the team managed everything brilliantly:
- about 32 viewing booked in first day on market
- sold for full asking after 15 or so viewings in first few days
- sale handled really well and issues dealt with quickly

I have had my property with them for several years and they are consistently focussed on any new legal requirements for me as a landlord and always get maintenance issues sorted quickly and at a reasonable price. Maintenance issues were always dealt with within 24 hours and last Xmas the boiler completely packed up and their plumber managed to inspect the same day, order a new boiler and the fit within 48hrs, whilst waiting for the new boiler they supplied me with additional heaters to keep warm.
