Had an incredibly positive experience with Peter Barry Surveyors (Winchmore Hill Branch) - with particular praise going to David (assistant surveyor), Jody (the delightful administrator) and our surveyor Steve Hobbs. From the initial quote to providing the actual homebuyers report they were so quick and efficient and incredibly friendly. I think people tend to roll their eyes when they say you get what you pay for but in this case you absolutely do, and we were able to escape a potentially disastrous flat purchase due to the amazing attention to detail from Steve's report. Will be using them again for our next (hopefully successful!) purchase and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy surveyor. Thank you again!

I called Peter Barry Surveyors for some advice about enclosure costs relating to a party wall dispute and ended up having an extremely informative and helpful chat with William Weaver who I guess is one of the partners. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful, even though I wasn't actually a client. The advice was freely given and has proved to be very useful and pertinent. If you need a surveyor, they seem to be the best people to talk to.

After receiving quotes from 6 companies, we went for Peter Barry. Although not the cheapest option, their teams are well organised and promptly responded to our queries. We were happy with the building survey, which was helpful to decide whether we would proceed with the property as we had some concerns. (We eventually did and had the completion recently!) The report is professionally written and you may need to teach yourself if you are uninitiated. The only minus was the report didn't come with any photos of the property. We received some at our request later, but weren't so useful to be fair.
