I have been renting in London for the last 12 years. I have never had an experience positive enough as to be motivated to write a review. It is the first time I am reviewing an estates agency and I am giving an unreserved 5 out of 5. This November, through Peter Michael on zoopla, I saw this add about a wonderful flat on the Harringay ladder (the flat I am currently living in) at an unreal low price for London these days. In the beginning I was suspicious and had second thoughts about calling for a viewing. Finally, I gave in and indeed I was wrong. It was just a rare find. Peter on the phone was open, clear, straight forward and honest about all the pros and cons. A viewing was arranged really quickly in an hour! A holding deposit was put and despite my fear that something could change until the last minute, the promise was kept. (Earlier in 2021, I had this bad experience with Black Katz that after giving a holding deposit and a leaving notice to my landlady at the time, the agency told me that there was a better offer on the table and rejected mine). Peter promised me that something like this would not happen with PC. All the members of staff I interacted with were friendly, direct and quick in their responses. All timeframes were kept, health and safety in their offices was of high standards. No small prints, no catches. When I signed, I told them I owe them a good review. I took my time to pay the first rents and see if everything would work ok. 3 months later I am writing this to say: Thank you guys, I owe you!

I would like to thank the team at Peter Michael for my personal experience of renting a property through them. I found the staff to be polite, efficient and willing co-operate with my specific demands. The only sour point was a slight delay in referencing me but this was not their fault and down to a slow referencing company. From a landlords perspective I cannot fault these guys. I was looking for a good quality local agent that wouldn't cost the earth to either me or my tenants - having rang around most of the big local names I found these guys were the most competitive in terms of costs and fees to both myself and my tenants, and the experience of dealing with their staff and their director was second to none.
